The Rise of Al-Qaeda and Why the Administration Lied about Benghazi
PJ Media ^ | August 4, 2013 | Roger L Simon

For nearly a year, we have had no answer to why the administration lied about Benghazi — why it told the world, not to mention the parents of our murdered SEALs at the funeral of their sons, that the cause of that fatal conflagration was an anti-Islamic video no one saw, when the various arms of our executive branch (White House, State and intelligence) already knew, or strongly suspected, it was a terror attack orchestrated by al-Qaeda affiliates.

You only have to read the now infamous talking points to know that.

That this lie was deeply immoral is obvious. What still eludes us is the cause of that lie, other than the equally obvious desire to avoid embarrassment weeks before a presidential election.

But what was this embarrassment about? Recent events have supposedly unearthed a tie to secret arms shipments to Syrian rebels, but as the always cogent Barry Rubin points out, anyone paying attention to the story has known this for some time. Rumors of such shipments filled the Internet even before the Benghazi fireworks.

Furthermore, as Rubin also indicates, if that information had been immediately revealed or leaked to the public soon after the event, it would have been met by a national shoulder shrug that was firmly ratified by Obama’s loyal media claque. It wouldn’t have impacted the election much, if at all.

No, something more problematic was involved and I suspect I know what it was. No one wanted to admit — or probably face for themselves — the extent to which the president, and therefore his administration, the State Department, the CIA and even the military, was in bed with Islamists.

Start at 749 and then read the remaining about the blackstone rangers/el Ruhn
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2151323/posts?q=1&;page=749

They got their start selling drugs from the Mexican drug cartels. (The real reason the southern border is not closed it’ll hurt business)
Jesse Robinson half brother Noah was involved. JJ himself was close until a large group went to prison Robinson as in M O their all from the Friends Plantation area in Carolina’s
0 was community organizer and represented this black Muslim gang in state legislature
Notice the involvment in gun running to Libya and their Muslim involvement in ME

Also notice the gang colors red black green. Remember the discussion on why MO wore those colors to a major event at start of administration.

On one of the blogs O’s relationship to leader is discussed
Group was convicted of first US domestic terrorism
And is still active today in the black on black murders of Chicago

... but Morsi appears to have been involved in sending some of the attackers from Egypt ...

I'm not sure we really know that for certain. But I do know there was a report that indicated that one of the attackers made the statement that "Dr. Morsi sent us" or something to that effect.

My problem with the Morsi theory is: It's totally crazy. Look at the risk to Morsi. He would have to see the potential that he would lose Obama's support and those F-16's. For what?

Of course the guy clearly doesn't quite understand the political risks he was taking or he would still be the President of Egypt.

So maybe it was Morsi. Maybe Obama can explain to us what Morsi was trying to prove.

But I don't think it was Morsi. I don't think we really know what is bugging Obama so much that he taking such extreme measures to put the lid on the CIA people.

But I want to know. I really want to know.

Hillary specifically picked an openly homosexual for the diplomatic position over the objections of many. Stevens went on to bring homosexuals with him and advertised locally for homosexuals to do general labor in the compound. This infuriated the local Muslim Fundamentalists to no end who protested and eventually raided the compound. These terrorists sodomized Stevens and another American homosexual. When sated, they used bayonets to sodomized and kill Stevens. This is way too disgusting to be let out and shows Hillary used extremely poor judgment in assigning an openly homosexual to such a high position in a country that forbids homosexuality (publically). This knowledge would break her political back if released. “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?” A very, very BIG one to her career and the WH administration !

I really want to know too. Clearly something was going on in Libya that would be devastating to somebody powerful if it got out to the public.

There were a couple of articles published about that both before and after the attack. Haven’t been able to locate either of them recently.

“Either way, what ever odumbo is, he is NOT an American.”

No. He is an anti-American non-American. Which brings us back to what the founders intended re: protecting America from foreign enemies becoming the CIC. Too bad they didn’t more explicitly define that “natural born” part of the citizenship requirement.

Well, another theory. And, an interesting one. If so, this would not go down well for either Obama or Hillary.

So, do you have any evidence that goes beyond logical speculation? And - how does your theory explain the "Dr. Morsi sent us" comment by one of the attackers.

I’ll leave the in depth investigation to Mr. Issa as it seems there are always another theory to explore once all others are proven wrong. I’ll stick with this one for now.

That's OK. It's actually not a bad theory. But the possibility of Issa getting to the bottom of Benghazi? I doubt it. We need someone (CIA I assume) who knows what the deal is to talk to Fox News or CNN or Jim Robinson.

Who actually attacked actually organized the Benghazi attack? This was not a spontaneous demonstration. The attackers were, I believe, mostly locals but with a foreign sponsor. . .

_________________________________________________________

WRONG!

The people there who survived said the attackers were not locals, they had accents that were not from Lybia at all. They were Egyptian according to their accents.

Mr. Obama put Morsi in place, Morsi put the Bengazi attackers in place.

The story is that there was to be a kidnapping of the ambassador. In return for his release we would release the blind Sheik to Egypt where he is VERY popular with the radicals. Radicals make up over 20% of Egypt so that makes him very popular indeed.

To make this work the US had to reduce the security at the Benghazi consulate. This we did. The most dangerous consulate in the whole world was Benghazi and it had the least security. Weeks before the attack the CIA protectors were moved off campus and ALL the security responsibility was given to paid local Al Qeuda types. When the time came they of course walked away or perhaps even led the attackers to the ambassador.

In order to keep all this secret only a few people knew about it. The CIA operatives on the ground that had been moved off campus did not know about it. They heard of the shooting and responded to the radio and phone calls for help from the ambassador who was also out of the loop. Several of America's finest risked their own lives to protect and save the Ambassador, to no avail.

What has happened in Benghazi is the worst case of Treason ever perpetrated upon this country. Murder for political gain. It wasn't supposed to be murder it was supposed to be political intrigue and sucessful diplomacy but these kind of lies seldom work as planned. The truth will likely be told by someone who knows eventually. There is simply no reason on earth for the reduction in security at the Benghazi consulate.

This is a plan hatched by the president and the wannabe next president who was Sec. State.

Shame.

Valerie Jarrett was born in Tehran. What relationship did she retain with the Mullahs...?

Did she red-light the rescue owing to some extra-American loyalties of hers...?

Yes, this has been the storyline that has the most traction. And your point about the attackers being Egyptian could well be true.

I read the Libyan report. If it’s true then you are correct.

My problem with it is that a plan as you describe it is so incredibly HIGH RISK for both Obama and Morsi. The chances of pulling it off would to be near zero. I can’t speak for Morsi but this just doesn’t sound like something Obama would do particularly when it would draw worldwide attention to a weapons smuggling operation that he is/was running from Libya to Turkey to the Syrian rebels.

Your theory depends on the truth of the Libyan report. It fails if that document is fraudulent.

I will say this: Your theory does explain the incredible pressure by Obama to keep a lid on this story.

I want to see another source that will backup the Libyans version. If you have it let us know. You may well be right about all of this. I’m just not as confident about it as you are.

Duh - I read the whole article and got it - I need to read more and ask fewer dumb questions, sorry. He also calls al Sisi a “strong man” and mentions rapes as though they were committed by the military or something. Rest of article seems rational to me (apart from that) and thinking that Mozlems are “homophobic”.
