“...On Saturday, unnamed U.S. officials told media outlets Yemeni intelligence agencies alerted Washington to the threat during the visit by the Yemeni president to Washington....”

Amazing.

Good morning, everybody!

As usual, bray, you do a fine job exposing the putrid septic wallow that undergirds that glittering city in the swamp, Washington, DC, and their fellow travelers in academia and the media!

Rant on.

I have no television. I do have satellite radio and sometimes listen to the audio of Fox News on channel 114.

It’s often intolerable when they play some sort of “musical” sound effects at the same time they are reading a story. Don’t get me started on 3 or 4 people talking at once and the half witted ad libs and raucous laughter.

Fortunately, BBC is on 118 and there, at least, I can hear some actual news reporting that does not constantly insult my intelligence.

Rant off.

Howard Kurtz is a negative addition to the FNS panel. He sounds like he has come straight from an OFA meeting, and he interrupts the only conservative on the panel: today Senator DeMint.

Brilliant piece that had to be stated!

It's all part of the war on capitalism and the war on the middle and lower classes the commiecrats are waging at full warp speed.

The jobs created by the oil/gas boom could easily provide employment for those who are now on welfare. Another thing that needs to be stated of the jobs created over 70% are part time useless burger flipper types. Yet another Problem is that welfare is becoming so profitable and those on it are being given so much money/benefits that unless you earn between 50k and 100k its more worthwhile to stay on welfare.

Needless to say the regime will keep advocating the destruction of capitalism without actually coming out and saying it.

Every state of the union address where barky keeps saying the answers to our problems are through govt. building roads, bridges and other stuff we don't have money for is the same as saying death to capitalism.

FR mail for ya buddy.

Don’t get me started on 3 or 4 people talking at once

The FoxNews programs used to be bad about they [and they may still be].

I watched Cavuto's afternoon program for a while. One day, he had 4 guests in windows on the screen. As the program continued, 2, then 3, then all 4 of the guests were talking/yelling over each other. That went on for 7 minutes. Cavuto never once stepped in.

That wasn't the first time Cavuto allowed guests to talk over each other without his intervening.

That was several years ago, and I have not listened to his program since. I don't want to waste my time listening to people talking/yelling over each other.

Senator DeMint can really get a message condensed to irrefutable words. Example: Obamacare = Unfair, Unworkable, Unpopular

A good suggestion for chants and posters at town hall meetings if any congressmen have them during the five week break from DC.

Demint stating that the Republicans will send the president a bill to fully fund the government except for his failed ObamaCare program, if he won’t sign it HE will shut down the government.

That’s what we’re going to take to the American people.

The first thing you learn on radio when interviewing is that more than one guest is a waste of time. It's not much better on TV. Its also why most of the better hosts are solo acts.Rush, Hannity, Levin,Laura,Beck--even though he lets his buddies do his show half the time. It is called the Glen Beck show. Too bad he doesn't get why.

It's all designed for one caller and one host.Everyone is on board at that moment, add more and you get less.

One could drive a truck through the inconsistencies with this administration.

The trouble is that many 'across the aisle' are have also become inconsistent. Ask of the politicians 'who stands for what' and all you get are crickets chirping and deer-caught-in-the-headlights stares.

If Congress and the President really wanted to take a chunk out of the national debt and raise revenue, they should tax the under-the-table payoffs many in Washington are getting.

Truer words were never spoken. Even Clinton and Bush were able to meet the “full employment” mark during their times in office. Obama just ain’t interested.

Obama and his commies WANT more and more dependent on the US Gummint for their subsistence. That way the RATS stay in control - we are way past the tipping point and Obozo knows it

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. Unverified quote of Alexander Tytler

“Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”.

Mr. Franklin replied, “A republic, madam – if you can keep it.”

Heads up for the Rush Limbaugh interview with Greta Van Susteren repeat on Fox tonight. Rush covers the fracking which would make the US independent of foreign oil and the opposition of the elites to the process. Excellent interview and Rush looks so good as well. He is quite masculine and that is a treat in itself. Rush at his best.

That was a great interview.

Kudos to Greta as I understand she hounded Rush endlessly until he gave in.

Greta is waaaaaay better than that awful Bill O’Reilly, please Fox, put that man out to pasture and give Greta his prime spot.

In fact, now that Pennsylvania and Ohio allow "fracking," the result is economies of BOTH states are starting to turn around, especially with natural gas production. Meanwhile, Gov. Andrew Cuomo not allowing fracking is causing upper New York state to fall into economic hard times.

Thanks, it had to be said. We could have a job shortage if we would eliminate DC and it’s interference with the free market.

Fareed Zakaria GPS had a segment on about upward mobility and the gap between rich and poor. 2 guest points out there is no correlation between them, then the obvious attack the rich, this other guest(Jack) says ‘not to let the rich off the hook...taxes’.

Exactly, our side has a decided leadership deficit(and that's a huge understatement). While on the other side these guys have their act together so well that we can barely react to what they have devised over a period of years.

Obam/hillarycare a perfect example.

Devised by lawyers,no doctors allowed, over a period of 20 years it's no wonder we don't know how to react act or counter it!

We have no leadership much less long range planners, its a miracle our party still exists!

Yes, in the case of Benghazi he claims when the call came in he immediately gave the order to do everything possible, yet we know it was a half-hour into the 5 o’clock meeting with Panetta before they decided which option to pursue, which is 1 hour and 40 minutes after what must have been a frantic call to Washington from a guard who had seen the attackers breaching the compound with machine guns. Just what before and after that meeting was going on? And why couldn’t Panetta get any results to assist after the decision was made?

I caught Rush's first interview with Greta. It was phenomenal. As good as some of his radio shows “used to be.”
