The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform subpoenaed Obama Treasury Secretary Jack Lew for withholding documentation from Congress in the ongoing IRS Tea Party Scandal investigation.
The Oversight Committee accuses the Obama Administration of impeding and obstructing the investigation.
“During the past two weeks, President Obama and you have repeatedly labeled the IRS’s strategy of targeting Americans for their political beliefs as a ‘phony’ scandal. While the Obama Administration has so publicly deflected responsibility for the targeting, it simultaneously has attempted to thwart congressional oversight into the matter… the IRS has engaged in a systematic effort to delay, frustrate, impede, and obstruct the Committee’s investigation,” Issa writes in a letter to Lew accompanying the subpoena.
The IRS targeted over 292 conservative groups before the 2012 election. The IRS abuse continues to this day.
Earlier this week the IRS turned over thousands of pages – most of them completely unreadable – to the Oversight Committee.

Chairman Issa displayed the totally black pages that the crooks at Treasury had handed to the oversight committee. Such arrogance should be treated as the crime it is and someone should be frog-marched to jail.

Nobody is going to jail. The GOP Leadership doesn’t want the political brawl that would be required to heel these rampaging marxists. We are getting the same old tip toe through the tulips gum flapping that we got from 2010-2012. Boehner, Ryan, Cantor and the rest of the stooges will keep it up until next Nov. No fight in them at all.

So I’ll tell you. Issa, or any member of Congress or any committee of Congress, cannot arrest and jail ANYONE.
A person can be put in jail for lying to Congess while under oath. But the Congress itself cannot do that. Only the Dept. of Justice can put somebody in jail for lying to Congress.
So, if you think HOLDER is gonna put HOLDER in jail, well, there’s no hope you’ll ever “get it”.
