hear, hear
Words mean things. Or in the case of #3, commercials mean things. And in Gingrich’s case, not “conservative” things.
He’s also tried running for office. Egad. Let him stay in the tank.
I do, too.
Nothing he is saying in this article is untrue. Pretty interesting that folks would down him for promoting two of our best conservative voices.
I'm going say something very bold, or at least very different from most the comments that I see on this thread.
I side with Newt's comment about Rand and Cruz versus Christie.
They are not quit downing him for promoting today's two best conservative voices.
But they are certainly ignoring the comment aren't they.
I stand with Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Newt Gingrich.
Newt needs to dump on Juan and Boner. It’d be more useful.
If Newt Gingrich was the nominee last year, whether he won or not, at least he would have fought and fought hard. Unlike the poser who was too afraid to say anything too controversial.
I side with FreeReign who sides with Newt who sides with Rand and Cruz vs. Christie.

I can’t say that this is a harsh slap down..but it isn’t a pat on the head. He sort of said McCain is washed up.
There is no love lost between Gingrich and Boehner.
I don’t think we had a shot of winning last year...but I would have paid good money to see Newt debate The Won and put the slanted mediators in their respective places.
We didn’t go to war against Iraq or Afghanistan. We went to war against terror. Anyone paying even a little bit of attention would have known it’s a “war” that can’t be won.
Let me add it’s a war we can’t win because we do what has to be done to win.
Newt jumping on the bandwagon reminds me of Jim Maddox when he was running against Ann Richards for governor. Ross Perot was running strong so Jim went around telling people “I’m like Ross Perot”. I swear. He said it to me.
People are such mindless sheep. They forget that Newt was "tea party" long before those others came along. Remember the one minute speeches, his taking down Speaker Jim Wright and building the revolution that took over the House? That victory was years in the making and Newt was out front in all of it. Perhaps, some should show a bit of gratitude to him for his efforts. I haven't forgotten.
Or, back to Tiffany’s ;)
NEWT GINGRICH IS absolutely right.
Seen the game played too many times.
Destroy the TEA Party conservatives, then tell us we have to support the squishy moderate nominee because he's better than the demonic-rat.
NEVER AGAIN!
Kind of like saying, "Trust me, I'm from the government."
No longer, do we trust either the government nor the RNC "establishment" for they represent the same thing - "do as we say, NOT as we do!"
Unfortunately, Gingrich will say this today, then tomorrow (figuratively or not) he'll come down on Christie's side an saying Cruz and Paul are "out of the mainstream!" His credibility is seriously in question, in my mind.
There is never a war that can’t be won.
Don’t be a defeatist.
