This year's bad news for MSNBC has only gotten worse. The "Lean Forward" network has struggled in the ratings since the Boston Marathon bombings exposed the network's glaring weakness when it comes to news gathering. MSNBC had hoped to turn that around by going all-in on with the Zimmerman, but it didn't. Compared to last year in July, MSNBC was down -12% in total viewers and -4% in the 25-54 demo.
"Morning Joe" lost -4% of its viewers, -8% in the 25 to 54 demo. Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell all took huge hits over last year. Hayes is down -27%, O'Donnell's down -29%, and Maddow slid -19% in total viewers. The numbers were not much better in the 25-54 demo.

Ads are priced and sold based on audience. The per viewer aymentspayments that they get from cable operators won’t even keep the lights on. It’s ad supported television.
Will the last one watching MSNBC please turn off the TV.
Rush the other day said that is not exactly true. Said liberal women are now mostly in charge of ad buys. Said they care more about ideology than eyeballs.

You know your show is in trouble when you have to break out the “stunts”. That woman is miserable. Such an air of “I’m so very, very intelligent, it’s a burden.”
And it looks like she’s going bald...gives me the creeps.
Only thing worse is Madcow’s constant sneer and morphing into the guy from the program E.R. in front of our eyes.

Now that a Democrat activist has been named producer of CNN’s new version of ‘Crossfire’, it’s clear that MSNBC will also have to split their tiny pie of scumbag Democrat viewers with CNN as well.
Why are viewers leaving?
When you have heard “Conservatives Suck” and “Bush Did It” a million times from lesbians, racists, girly men, insane foreigners and Obama idolizers it gets old.
You mean, they were ahead of someone before?
Lost 12% of viewers? From that I would infer that viewership dropped from eight to seven.

I guess the viewers are tiring of faux racist rants 24/7.
