Is sending a gay guy to a mens prison considered punishment? “Yoo hoo! Jackpot!”

Convicting him on “aiding the enemy” charges was always a stretch, IMO. But the guilty verdicts on the lesser charges will keep him in Leavenworth for a long, long time. Bradley Manning’s career as a liberal talking head will be on hold for the next 10-20 years.

Hard to write books when you’re busting rocks.

I expect he will get 20 years.

A federal sentence of 20 years for espionage means he will actually serve 20 years, probably busting rocks in Fort Leavenworth or Fort Carson.

"he will actually serve 20 years"

Until 0bama pardons him, that is. I believe that Wikileaks, Snowden, and other leaks of classified information are the work of team 0bama themselves. Collapsing America requires the giveaway of the information that makes us a superpower. 0bama denies awareness of IRS crimes. We know better. He'd probably deny any involvement in the Snowden or Wikileaks compromise. I know better.

Reuters Blog: “Maximum sentences on other charges for which Manning found guilty add up to more than 100 years in prison. Sentencing begins tomorrow at 9:30am ET.”

Sloppy reporting. He was convicted of violating certain sections of the “Espionage Act”, but not convicted of espionage.

Evweryone is ignoring that his motive to do all of this was because he was a frustrated gay guy. Now we have lots of them in the military.

I'm sure we will see more hissy fits to follow.

As I’ve written before, the Field Grade Officer Corps has gone the way of the Generals and Admirals.

Wait till we have to fight a war with these bozos in the lead.

Absolutely.

The chubby-cheeked little faggot got his feelings hurt by a big old nasty NCO who insisted that he do his job, faggot or not.

As a result, his stealing and release of the information is the equivalent of the petulant foot-stomping most queens do when they are denied what they think is their due.

The problem is that there are many more like him in the US military now.

There is no such thing as a faggot warrior.

In the US Military, one is a warrior, or one is a faggot. They do NOT go together.

I say get rid of the faggots and let the warriors be warriors without having to worry about chubby-cheeked little shits like Bradley Manning.

Lock his ass up and throw away the key.

Well, he won’t be busting rocks. The folks at Leavenworth don’t do “Hard Labor” any longer.

"Aiding the Enemy" seems something more like 'furnishing weapons to violent terrorist organizations', not uploading digital files to Wikileaks.

You know, like 'Furnishing several thousand AK47 rifles to ultra-violent Mexican narcotics-trafficking criminal organizations' would be 'Aiding the Enemy'.
