Blaming Huma Abedin (Under the bus she goes...)
Washington Post ^ | 7/29/13 | Sally Quinn

Posted on 07/29/2013 2:54:08 PM PDT by jimbo123

-snip-

Though her friends say she is strong and resolute and defiant, sadly she makes all women look like weak and helpless victims. She was not standing there in a position of strength. It was such a setback for women everywhere.

-snip-

Yet I can’t help blaming Abedin for condoning this behavior and allowing this charade to continue. In a Post story Thursday, Karen Tumulty wrote that Abedin, a longtime key aide to Hillary Clinton, has been playing the Hillary card to solicit money from Clinton donors, who are too afraid of alienating Hillary Clinton to turn Abedin down. Then there was the stunning news conference in which she defended her husband. I understand that one woman’s humiliation is another woman’s power play, but I can’t see how what Abedin did could be a good example for any woman anywhere.

-snip-

She says she is standing by Weiner for her family and her child. Does she really think her son will benefit from looking back on his mother’s excruciating display of lack of self-respect? Does she believe that the fact that she is essentially condoning Weiner’s behavior sets a good example for her son?

Any marital advice coming from Sally Quinn, “I screwed my married boss, Ben Bradlee, to get ahead at the Washington Post” can hardly be considered as useful.

No reason to hang with the guy and risk further embarrassment if there’s nothing to gain from it.

Exactly. So is she more effective as a divorce', or a grieving widow remarried to another power player?

I don’t think that’s his child-doesn’t look a thing like him at all-
just my woman’s intuition...

I liked Bob Schieffer’s description of Weiner: “Weiner is a flasher with a digital raincoat.”

New York City is hilarious!
So, if the next mayor isn’t Weiner it will be that sickening bulldyke?

The bull dyke is getting 25% of the vote in polls. She needs 40% to avoid a runoff. So there will be a runoff and the “Anyone But Quinn” candidate has a great chance of winning the runoff. That’s why Weiner refuses to pull out.

And the ballots have already been printed!

Sally Quinn is too busy wiping up her husband's drool (or spending his money while somebody else wipes it up) to follow the story closely. I doubt Sally Quinn got as far as she did being so naive, though maybe she's gotten soft since she was exiled to the Post's "On Faith" column.

The story that I heard is that Huma was behind Anthony Wiener's return to politics, so she'd have to be something more than a helpless doormat or victim. The story isn't wife stands by cheating husband. It's more like ambitious wife goads the louse she married into trying to move up in the world, but his own depravity ruins the project.

Still, I doubt the whole Muslim Brotherhood plot story. If Huma were really looking for someone to marry to advance a secret agenda, was Weiner really the best she could have done? Wouldn't a more clean-cut Middle American have been a better bet for Abedin?

The lesbian relationship with Hillary is also questionable, based on (willful?) misunderstandings of the phrase "body person"? If you relied on somebody to make sure you were at every meeting and prepared, would you really jeopardize that professional relationship with a messy affair?

In a very small sample of likely Republican primary voters, former Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chair Joseph Lhota gets 49 percent, with 35 percent for businessman John Catsimatidis and 7 percent for George McDonald.

You know Giuliani could walk in there and yawn his way into the mayor’s office if he wanted it.

Huma, friend of the Muslim Brotherhood, deserves every tire mark left on her.

Runoff polling:

Thompson 52%, Quinn 42%

Quinn 46%, Weiner 44% (Weiner wins due to minority vote fraud)

Unless she has one of those faces that do not photograph week, I fail to see “beauty”, even exotic beauty.

She looks like a cross between a lizard and a snake to me, (but what do I know), and thoroughly evil. Look at her eyes, and wonder what is her agenda.

If NY city elects them as the Amyor and “first lady”, it will confirm my sense that we are indeed in the “end-times”.

Huma is a Muslim mole into the highest levels of government, but some day her baby could become POTUSA according to some people.

The Clinton, Muslim Brotherhood PLAN was for Huma to be the first MUSLIM first lady of NYC, then off to the Senate, then maybe the White House!

Do you think the plan has been abandoned? I don’t.
