Obamacare Fallout: More Doctors Opting Out of Medicare

I would think that the best doctors that can afford to do so will opt out of Obamacare. That means the best doctors will be serving the elite only, without the federal government controlling their care.

I've said all along that there will be a two-tiered system. There will be those who can afford to opt out of Obama care and have their own medical structures. Then there will be those who have federal health insurance, where everthing will be controlled. Those who don't opt out will find that they're treated as categories, not individuals.

I have a lib relative who couldn't voted for 0 and couldn't wait to turn 65 to get on Medicare.

It's almost funny watching how irate she gets every time ANOTHER one of her docs stops accepting Medicare, or retires ;)

Don't know the direct answer to your question, but I know doctors who will not take any patient who has Medicare, but will take private insurance. Medicare is always primary, so these practices have opted out of any Medicare patients.

Don't worry.The Rats will soon try to pass legislation *forcing* them to accept Medicare.And then,when doctors decide to retire (or quit) rather than become free labor for the government they'll pass legislation forbidding them from retiring or quitting before the age of 75.

My mom recently had a simple procedure done with a doc who didn't take Medicare. She was a little concerned, but this doc came highly recommended.

She said that the cost was a little over $100. Eminently reasonable, for what she had taken care of.

Interesting, I thought, a real throwback to the olden days. Take the Gov't out of the equasion, and prices go down. We can't be having that, sez I, and Obamacare will quickly squelch any dissenters.

Yes, the leftists will fix this problem by making medical license renewals contingent upon their acceptance of Medicare/Medicaid patients - effectively dragooning the doctors into becoming government employees.

The MDs WILL eat the government dog food, and they WILL like it.
