Speaking of our Beloved Deep South, have you been enjoying the overly wet but much cooler weather we’ve had this Summer—so far?
I have my own weather station, so I know. Here it is just about August, and the warmest temperature in July for my farm has been 91.3 degrees. The average has been (counting night and day) 75.3 degrees! Normally, that’s the night time low!
People up North have been complaining about temperatures in the high 90s with heavy humidity every day (which is our Summer normal) and a bunch of “journ-O-lists” have written about that as proof of global warming yet we’ve had just the opposite weather. No stories about the cooler temperatures caused by Global Cooling down here, can you believe it?!
Morsi is still alive and Juan just said the MB is demanding he be reinstated. The Egyptian army knows exactly how to deal with these savages, too bad American’s don’t.

Seattle, which has legalized pot smoking, has a new problem: too many lighting up and smoking on the public sidewalks and walkways.
It is so bad that the city is having to consider banning pot smoking on the public walkways because the second-hand smoke it impacting others.
Before pointing fingers, Senator Lee needs to look around, especially outside the beltway. There is a big deficit of trust with Washington, in general, and with the Republicans, too.
Plus, this whole “defund Obamacare” is not gonna work. Obama just prints money as he sees fit, like Mugabe. And in some alternate future, why couldn’t a Demovik House “defund” a DOD program or some other pet Republican project—??
Laws are supposed to represent the will of the people and elites cavalierly defunding them for political reasons is just more statism by another method. Of course, we’re also talking about a “tax” here, too, just ask Bush Crime Family consigliare John Roberts.
Personally, I’d have been more interested in allowing Obama to run with his self-imposed “delay” in Obamacare implementation. A crafty “R” could simply use such an occurrence of autocratic power to a run for president promising to “delay” the income tax for 4 years. If we’re gonna abide elitist rule in any case, why not get something for it. Politics is all about addition, not subtraction, right?
