Chris Christie: Rand Paul ‘dangerous’
Politico ^ | 26 Jul 2013 | HADAS GOLD

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is ripping libertarians — including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) — for challenging government surveillance programs and failing to understand the dangers of terrorism. “This strain of libertarianism that’s going through parties right now and making big headlines I think is a very dangerous thought,” the New Jersey GOP governor said on Thursday at a Republican governors forum in Aspen, Colo. “You can name any number of people and (Paul is) one of them.”

Christie, a potential 2016 candidate who appeared on the panel with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, said lawmakers who are questioning government surveillance programs should hear from the families affected by the Sept. 11 attacks.

“These esoteric, intellectual debates — I want them to come to New Jersey and sit across from the widows and the orphans and have that conversation. And they won’t, because that’s a much tougher conversation to have,” Christie said. “The next attack that comes, that kills thousands of Americans as a result, people are going to be looking back on the people having this intellectual debate and wondering whether they put …” Christie said before trailing off. Paul’s office shot back on Friday, saying Christie may need a “new dictionary.”

The “dangerous” label will be the new narrative the Rinos will be using frequently against Paul,Cruz and anyone not in agreement with them.

You know what’s dangerous, Fatso? Eating like a pig and ballooning up to 350 pounds, didn’t you learn anything from James Gandolfini?

RINO’s are dangerous...especially the Christie type. This just moved Rand up several levels, in my book.

At one level, they are correct. I AM dangerous to their continued feeding at the government trough. I aim to send 'em back home, to brood over how their careers were cut short.

Yeah, Ronald Reagan was dangerous too!! John McCain and Mitt Romney, not so much. That’s why they were backed.

I’m not a libertarian but I’m not in any way comfortable with surveillance that violates the constitution in any way. We are a smart people and can figure out ways to monitor bad guys and those who consort with them.

“The next attack that comes, that kills thousands of Americans as a result"

So he's admitting that all the surveillance won't stop the next attack. He's defeating his own argument. A complete bombastic idiot.

Chris Christie: Rand Paul ‘dangerous’

I think that way of thinking all depends on which side of the fight for America's future you find yourself on Chrissie boy.

Christie is a petty tyrant and an Obama synchophant. He has no respect for the Constitution as shown by his constant railing against the 2nd Amendment. It is now apparent that he has the same disdain for the 4th Amendment.

Those who supported this clown are the same useful fools that Chris’s older brother Joe loved so much...

The title alone is good enough to make me send Rand Paul a donation.

“President Obama has done nothing to change the policies of the Bush administration in the war on terrorism."

That is an incorrect statement. There is plenty of information in the public domain to support the contention that different assupmtions are being made as to who and what constitutes a terrorist threat.

Probably an accurate prediction. “Dangerous” will be the new label for those bold enough to stray outside of the Republicrat domain.

Give me a break. Everyone knows by now that regular consumption from a tub of lard will likely prove fatal. This guy needs to be retired from politics - maybe come back as the Michelin man if he needs to stay in the public eye.

Christy needs to just plain shut-up.

I was thinking more along the lines of the "Stay Puft Marshmallow Man."
