The rights of religious minorities, including Christians, are being infringed all over the planet and humanity must take measures to stop such instances, Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Orthodox Christian leaders in Moscow.

“In many of the World’s regions, especially in the Middle East and in North Africa inter-confessional tensions are mounting and the rights of religious minorities are infringed, including Christians and Orthodox Christians,” the Russian President noted, adding that such conflicts could lead to the most serious consequences.

Putin called for immediate measures to prevent such situations.

He added that Russia has tremendous experience in reaching and maintaining inter-confessional peace and accord, and is ready to share it.

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill said at the same meeting that the attempts to push Christians out of Syria would lead to a “civilization catastrophe”. The patriarch noted that Syria was the birthplace of Christianity and the fact that believers get killed and purged in the course of the military conflict was a tragedy for Orthodox Churches, international culture and for everyday people.

Who would ever believe that a Russian President make more sense than our own?

First on Homo’s, then on Christians.

While our boy is anti-Christian, pro Homosexual.

If this is a ploy, then Putin has sure hit upon a great one.
He is more appealing as President than the one we have now. He looks like a man and acts like one, while ours acts like a sissy, and looks like one. He is standing up for religious freedom while ours is putting it down, He stands for marriage between a man and a woman, while ours bends over for perverts. He is leading a country that is regaining strength while ours is leading a country to Bankruptcy, and helping any way he can to speed the progress of it.

It is to the shame of American Christians that Vladimir Putin sounds more like a champion for Christianity than anyone in our government. We should stop voting for the weak.

I'd prefer to phrase it as:

While our first homosexual, first muslim president is antiChristian and pro homosexual....

Did you ever think Russia would be a defender of Christianity versus the Islamification and paganization of the US?

And don’t forget Russia has a flat tax-—I think 15% if I’m not mistaken.

Putin is interesting for sure. Not sure how far he is taking Russia toward freedom, but he is. First a flat tax, reintroduction of biblical values into the culture and he firmly defends them. I’m watching to see what is next.

I'll trade him for Zero any day. I'll throw in a bunch of Democrap draft choices too. And Pelosi and Reid. And $100 billion cash.

Never in a million years.

I also thought that the Catholic school daily practice of praying for the conversion of Russia was a waste of time.

I guess we should have been praying for the conversion of the US, too, although Our Lady warned about the decline of the Faith in the West at Garabandal.

Putin protecting Christians & children against gays....

I think he is doing this on purpose, to show Russia and US, on these issues now, he is better than obama. Next thing you know, he will put a 20 week ban on abortions.

I too am anxious to see where he is going and to see if this is real or some ploy, but right now he is head and shoulders above this racist POS we have to put up with.

There is something about Putin that I like. I just cannot believe it. He may be a egoist, most leaders of their countries are to some extent, But he definitely has his priorities straight and he has the Christian World on his side............

I still think it’s all about Putin realizing that a strong Christian presence in his own country is their best defense against the slow Muslim invasion he sees happening in other countries. The man plays chess, and he is not stupid. He is taking a longer term view, and looking out for the best intrests of his people.
