The U.S. government’s growing surveillance of Americans has transformed the nation into an “electronic concentration camp,” top civil-liberties attorney John W. Whitehead says.

“It’s moving so rapidly you have to feel creepy because you're being watched. Everybody has a file if you do anything electronically,” Whitehead, author the new book “A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State,” told Newsmax TV. …

Whitehead—who founded the Rutherford Institute in Virginia, which helps promote civil liberties and human rights—has been researching the growth of the National Security Agency since the 1980s.

The agency has been under fire for its collection of phone and email records—secret programs that were leaked to the press by one of its former contractors, Edward Snowden. …

Not good bedfellows. There is far more to it than this. God is not going to allow immoral folk the privilege of being able to shake off such tyranny.

The Constitution provides for liberty. It is up to the culture to provide morality.

Yes: free will to choose God’s ways.

A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways; how can any conservative trust in such?

True, but if you have a segment that won’t embrace morality, then God will withdraw His protection.

Slightly out of context. Consider what Caesar ended up doing to Judaea eventually.

Fair enough.

I suggest that we, this culture, the culture of today is on a knifes edge and tipping to an immoral foundation built by man and government.

Ironically, they advance the very things they are against.

It truly is a brave new world.

While he is speaking of one phase there are many.

He doesn’t mention Camera;s everywhere On the street, speeding camera’s ,red light camera’s, Cell phones that track us Computers in our cars that inform where we are how fast we are going and if we checked the oil before we started. Some computers have camera’s in them they can view us with and it is rumored some TV sets have them too. Listening devices can listen to us in our bedrooms from across the street and they can listen to us in our new cars.
The stores have records of what we bought and when we bought it, and our computers can be tracked and sent advertising according to where we have been. Our Doctors can ask if we own guns, and they will send our medical records to the Government.

Are we in a Police State?? Damned right.

Isn’t there a law (maybe FOIA) that says you are entitled to see all records the government is keeping on you? (if not under an active criminal investigation)

If so, I have an idea that could shut this down.

We get a freeper lawyer to post the form and process for making such requests, and we do a records access drive/protest.

We could cripple their capabilities, lawfully, by taxing their tyrannical system with lawful requests.

Let’s freep the NSA.

Anyone?

(Please forward or ping to anyone that could be helpful.)

In addition, there is no reason why we couldn’t solicit the help of the ACLU and any other traditionally liberal groups.

And on top of it all, more and more organizations, official and commercial, are requiring electronic transfers and electronic communications for school, work, payment of bills, transfer of legal documents, and virtually everything else.

You cannot opt out of the electronic world.

Soon, hiding cash at home will be not possible, because all people will be required to have their cash on an electronic card, and cash will no longer be legal tender - it will be electronic credits.

Then, you cannot be anonymous with any transaction for any purpose, from any source.

You will pay for your taxes on line, your health insurance premiums on line, your bills, on line, your pay will be electronic - all of which is done now, but you won’t have an alternative.

It will be a requirement to have internet access.

Barter will be the only option.

The control is already almost complete, and anyone who thinks otherwise is under a false illusion that elections still matter.

They are even saying that the post office will no longer be offering letter delivery door to door.

A pox on them all.
