New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control group Mayors Against Illegal Guns is finding it hard to keep its membership up, thanks to dozens of resignations and lost elections over the last few months.

According to an old version of its member list, saved on a blog dated back to late February, more than 50 mayors who were then listed on MAIG’s website are no longer there.

The article cites one mayor who resigned because he was allegedly run out of office by the city council, who opposed his views. Sounds a little fishy. Of course, the article doesn’t say how many other mayors resigned.
Why oh why would a mayor resign his office? Could it be pending charges of corruption, fraud, other criminal matters? Having views opposed by a city council doesn’t quite make it for me. How many articles have we seen about the several MAIG clowns committing crimes in the last two years?

It probably has more to do with the recall of Morse in Colorado than anything else.
That and the sight of jobs fleeing the gun-grabbing-banning Northeast states. Conn. is taking a job-losing beating for example over the Sandy Hook nonsense. One of my own suppliers just closed their Conn. warehouse rather than deal Yankee Snivelers.
It was a group of Idiots to start with.
The MAIG folks got 'put-off' by counter-demonstrations ,
especially , when the counter-demonstrations were larger than their own !
