Police patrol streets of Trappes, France (21 July 2013)
Crowds of youths have thrown stones at French police and set fire to cars in a second night of disturbances in the Paris suburb of Trappes.
The trouble was sparked by the arrest of a man whose wife was told by police on Thursday to remove an Islamic face-covering veil, banned in public.
He has been accused of trying to strangle the officer.
Up to 300 people attacked a police station in Trappes on Friday night where the man was being held.
One leading Muslim group disputed the authorities' version of events, blaming police "provocation".
The suspect, described as a Muslim convert aged 21, was later released on Saturday pending an appearance in court, French media say.

Planet of the Apes?
Not all the monkeys live in the zoo.
... Trappes is about 40 km outside Paris.
Some cultures do evolve and become superior to others. The whole world is still waiting for America to go down in flames over the Zimmerman circus. Didn’t happen, did it?
The Europeans had better wise up. They need to round up all the Muslims there and ship them back to wherever they came from and ban any further Muslims from coming there.
There are only three possible scenarios here:
a) They capitulate and Europe become Muslim
b) Their society collapses into anarchy and continual civil war
c) They bite the bullet while the numbers of these barbarians are still relatively small, round them up and ship them out.
There are NO other POSSIBLE alternatives here.
“Youths”, ehhh? C’mon, call ‘em what they are- Islamist terrorist wannabees!
I was wondering whether the TDF was going through there today.
Tour de France for those of you in Rio Linda.
Maybe they are hoping for a Bahraini version of an Islamic state where there is a secular somewhat Western area surrounded by a fundamentalist slum. They may not realize that won't work in a democracy.
