Thanks for the post smoothsailing. Hopefully with each side of Congress the hearings will end up in the CSPAN archives.

Should be a rather interesting hearing at least on the HR side of the house. No response required. We understand.

Where’s Obama speaking out on Benghazi? He has time to speak out on the Zimmerman trial. 4 Americans have died and there’s been no justice at all. Perhaps its time for mass rallies on behalf of these 4 Americans.

My thought Mesta is most of the information given will be behind closed doors. Is a pity but is what I believe will happen. Too much is classified these days.

If Col. Bristol tells the whole truth, this could be interesting. But I doubt we will hear what is actually said.

That's my biggest worry.

The regime manages everything/Benghazi.

If they are letting Bristol testify I doubt we will learn anything at all.It appears this guy is still active until the end of the month and in that case basically his supreme commander is zero/valjar.

There's no way they will let him tell anything of significance. He's probably already been bribed or threatened.

It's what they do.

All this should have been done months ago!!Once again our side has dropped the ball.

The left is always 6 step ahead of us. And, I sincerely hope that I am wrong. Bottom line we have to try.

Exactly that’s just how it works.
The trayvon BS effort by the DBM/regime is now covering up almost a dozen or so scandals which will all be forgotten when they get tired of trayvon the card carrying Crypt gang member and what a saint he was.

“In that role, Colonel Bristol had detailed knowledge of special forces assets that might have been employed to assist American diplomats and security contractors who were under attack. Four U.S. officials, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed. There was no military response; early reports suggested that we lacked assets in the region at the time the assault began. When it was revealed that an American SOF team was actually on the ground in Tripoli—with an airplane waiting to fly them to Benghazi—the narrative changed. Current accounts suggest the team was “held” in Tripoli in case U.S. facilities in that city came under attack. Various administration officials have also denied claims that the commander of that SOF unit, Lieutenant Colonel S.E. Gibson was told to “stand down” when he volunteered to respond to the situation in Benghazi.”

Seems there was an SOF team with a plane in Tripoli standing by to go to Benghazi. I’m dying to hear why it was not sent.
First excuses are that Tripoli would then become insecure, what BS. The above is from the link below.

http://formerspook.blogspot.com/

Here’s more from the link above.

“The good Colonel is spending a lot of time on terminal leave. While it’s not uncommon for retiring service members to spend 30 or 60 days in that status before retirement, Bristol will be in that category for for 122 days—a full, four months. To accumulate that much leave time, Colonel Bristol had to carry over the year-to-year “max” (75 days); utilize all leave accumulated during the current fiscal year (25 days) and take three weeks of permissive TDY, which is allowed in conjunction with permanent change-of-station moves. Not entirely unheard of; many military members try to “bank” as much leave as possible in conjunction with their retirement. Colonel Bristol did one helluva job in maximizing leave in the months before retirement—and covering his tracks. So far, no one can find the mysterious Colonel, who had a long career in special ops, and is credited with developing the Marine Corps’ current martial arts training program.

Obviously, DOD is in no mood to help Congress locate Colonel Bristol. But we’ve also got to wonder if our legislators are really serious about the task. Given the various databases and resources outlined above, finding George Bristol should be a relatively simple process. Yet, members of the House and Senate seem no closer to securing his testimony than they were a few months ago. Obviously, Congressional Democrats are concerned about what Bristol might say; in his former position, Colonel Bristol was almost certainly involved in the high-level consultations on the evening of September 11, 2012, and the ultimate rejection of a military response. But we’re also starting to wonder about members of the GOP. They deserve great credit for pursuing the truth on Benghazi; so why aren’t they being more aggressive in pursuing the testimony of the senior special ops officer for the Africa region, on a night when such assets were available—and desperately needed—but never used.”

He’ll probably lie for that next promotion to general.

No need for the media to harp on the Martin case... Hannity is doing just fine and taking care of that. If I’ve heard him say “ground and pound mma style” once it has been 10,000 times.

Yup, thats been driving me nuts, too. ‘Ground and pound’ over and over and over again. Good grief. I think he does it because to him it sounds so macho. I think he pictures himself as a Rambo type of guy. And he’s always eager to call for military action, to call for others to be put in harms way, yet he never volunteered for military service himself. I’ve always disliked the word ‘chickenhawk,’ but I will apply it to him. I have my suspicions that in real life Hannity is a wimp who would pee and crap himself if he ever found himself in a dangerous situation where he had to defend himself.

Hence the _Resident's "Trayvon" remarks.

That's a pretty good illustration of the old Bill Buckley mot about the Jesuits and their habitual method of defending a man accused of having murdered two men and a dog, of working things up to a dramatic pitch and, at just the right moment, suddenly producing the dog, alive.

Dissenting a bit from your view, I think Hannity is doing it to beat the Sharpton Lynch Mob to death with the observation that Trayvon Martin had been trained -- by whom?! -- in MMA and other thug tactics (the shirt over the head thing, grabbing a pistol to disable it) and was in fact the aggressor.

I think he was doing it to "ground and pound" the _Resident's media thugs with evidence totally refuting to the point of elenchus, the "liddle Twayvon" lie they've been putting out relentlessly since Day One.

"Elenchus" = consummation of refutation, a.k.a. "the lie has died in your mouth".
