It appears many of the young women are too drunk to defend themselves if they were armed. The men are taking advantage of the most vulnerable, not determined, sober ladies in groups in broad daylight. (I bring this up because my mother and daughters are going to London this fall.)

That was my first thought when I started reading this article. While I have no doubt that it would be illegal for a woman to carry a knife for protection, every young girl in England should be trained in Escrima or other forms of knife fighting.

These animals need to see the end of their "manhood" that they've never seen before!

The problem is that the perpetrator desires to dominate and control the victim, by demonstrating forcefully how he has ultimate control over her body.
