Politico’s Glenn Thrush reports that after President Obama won re-election, he tried to find out ways of pushing his second term agenda without the Republican-led Congress.
“Guys, I don’t want politics to be a limit of what you recommend to me,” Obama told senior aides David Plouffe, Lew, Dan Pfeiffer and Pete Rouse a couple of weeks after his reelection, according to a White House aide with direct knowledge of the meeting.
“Let’s come up with an agenda, then let’s figure it out from there as best we can,” he said, prodding them to adopt a more muscular approach to the use of executive power. “We can’t let the driving force of what we pass be Congress.”
This explains President Obama’s frequent mentions of governing without Congress.

Maybe someone who had a temporary pang of conscience ..or. .someone who’s too blind to realize how dangerous it is but thinks it’s clever and creative

Disagree somewhat. Repub politicians who are wusses are part of the problem not just Dems and their media wing.
Ronald Reagan won in a landslide because he ran on Conservative Principles. Reagan managed to get most of his tax polices implemented even with Repubs in the minority. The current crop of Repubs controlling the Party have no Principles and are walking across the aisle to help Dems.
I perfer to hold accountable those calling themselves Repub and giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Is the avalanche of profoundly troubling Executive Orders one of the results?
Was ignoring the Supreme Court also on the agenda? Or was it assumed that the GOP Congress (which is the ONLY entity that has standing to appeal to the Court and which is not under the control of the Executive Branch,) would act befuddled and powerless to mount a challenge?
Hussein's aides obviously found brazen means of circumventing Congress, in a way that dispensed with the need for accommodation or compromise.

How on earth do you propose to impeach a dem POTUS through a dem Senate? It serves no useful purpose to go through the motions, like with klintoon, without some better than even chance of convicting to remove from office.
The House can stop nobama, by simply refusing to go along with any more Continuing Resolutions. Bam, no money, no tyrant.
I am concerned that in reality it will take a true SHTF situation where enough armed patriotic citizens say “NO MORE”.

No one here or on any other conservative website is going do a darn thing about it either. There is lots of talk and beta dogs ready to roll over and be tinkled on. The problem with conservatives is like what Rush says they have to much to lose and they have no fight in them. Liberals on the other hand never quit and will fight no matter what the cost. Losing personal gain is honorable to a liberal..
