ORLANDO — Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. strongly condemned so-called “Stand Your Ground” laws here Tuesday in a speech to the NAACP that addressed the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

The laws “sow dangerous conflict in our neighborhoods,” Holder said, by “allowing – and perhaps encouraging – violent situations to escalate in public.”

If zero and Holder manage to make self-defense a criminal act in America, they will have succeeded in turning us into Britain. Currently, in Britain, it is a felony for anyone to defend themselves or their property against criminals trying to rob or injure them.

If zero wants to stake his future on this looney tactic, let him. Holder is just a racist mouthpiece pandering to the oldest organized group of racists in the country.

his job is the law , plain and simple, to defend the law, plain and simple.

DOMA he ignores,
racists he ignores as it’s “my people”
illegals he ignores
drugs he ignores

no wonder the communists, and socialist love this guy after he pushes his homosexual agenda and ignores drugs and racism.

Amen. A concept so simple that even Rachel Jeantel could understand it.

Well...maybe.

That’s funny because the “Stand your ground” law wasn’t even a factor in the Zimmerman case. It was a cut-and-dried case of simple self-defense.

If anything, it could have been called “lay your ground” since George Z was on his back taking punches from St. Trayvon when he defended himself.

He needs to explain: What exactly is to be gained in society by allowing the growing number of barbarians to terrify decent citizens?

Why should we have “Flee from black aggressors” laws?

Why should we be forced into running away or doing anything at all when confronted with a bully?

I thought the stand you ground law was never part of the case.

It wasn't. But truth and facts make no difference to our racist Attorney General and the media. I've noticed that about 99% of what I've read about this case centers on that law even though it wasn't part of Zimmerman's defense, so it's easy to see it's a planned anti-gun campaign being run from behind the scenes.

"It's not the facts of the case, it's the seriousness of the charge..."

It was ALWAYS about getting Gun Control legislated from the bench. SYG and the Castle Doctrine are under the gun...

“Holder is unfit for his position. His statements legitimate protestors’ violent acts which are in fact racially motivated.”

Holder reflects the views of the President and the Democrats in the Senate. His nomination to be Attorney General was approved by the Senate 75 to 21. The following Republicans voted to confirm Holder:

Alexander (R-TN)
Bennett (R-UT)
Bond (R-MO)
Chambliss (R-Ga)
Collins (R-ME)
Corker (R-TN)
Graham (R-SC)
Grassley (R-IA)
Gregg (R-NH)
Hatch (R-UT)
Isakson (R-GA)
Kyl (R-AZ)
Lugar (R-IN)
McCain (R-AZ)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Sessions (R-AL)
Snowe (R-ME)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)

If you believe a Republican Senate is the key to stopping the downward spiral of the country, think again.

Yes, Eric the Great. Let’s get rid of protecting your property. Let’s make it illegal. I will agree. Let’s make self defense illegal, too.

RIGHT AFTER ALL THREATS TO PROPERTY, LIFE AND LIMB CEASE.

Let’s all live in peace and harmony, with coca cola and granola. No one robs anyone, no one attacks. At that point, let’s take the self defense laws off the books. It’s ok, sir; we’ll wait.

The laws “sow dangerous conflict in our neighborhoods,” Holder said, by “allowing – and perhaps encouraging – violent situations to escalate in public.”

FACT - Trayvon, not Zimmerman, was the one who escalated the situation to the level of a violent confrontation. Got that? The guy who DIDN'T have the gun escalated things violently. So the gun, and the Stand Your Ground Law, were irrelevant.

So much for another one of the Obama Gang's loopy theories.

Reminds me of Big Tim Sullivan.

His constituents - the typical Tammany crowd of gangsters and thugs - found the growing frequency with which they encountered armed victims to be unacceptable, so they convinced him to push through New York's Sullivan Act.

Which disarmed said victims, and made the streets much safer for said gangsters and thugs.
