DHS warns employees not to read leaked NSA information
Washington Post ^ | July 15, 2013 | By Josh Hicks

The Department of Homeland Security has warned its employees that the government may penalize them for opening a Washington Post article containing a classified slide that shows how the National Security Agency eavesdrops on international communications.

An internal memo from DHS headquarters told workers on Friday that viewing the document from an “unclassified government workstation” could lead to administrative or legal action. “You may be violating your non-disclosure agreement in which you sign that you will protect classified national security information,” the communication said.

The memo said workers who view the article through an unclassified workstation should report the incident as a “classified data spillage.”

The NSA is a Defense Department agency, meaning it does not fall under the jurisdiction of Homeland Security. It was not immediately clear whether all federal agencies released similar warnings to their employees. . .

It makes sense.
Why would any Gov employee access a hacker site from a secure network?

The pipe works two ways.
While WAPO is probably safe Wikileaks is probably not.

“Intelligence” to the Moslem Caliphate by Pelosi’s fraud
requires NOT READING.

Just like TRANSPARENCY means revealing NOTHING
except YOUR personal medical and psychiatric records
and email and phone calls to THEM.
(assuming you are not a terrorist who is PROTECTED).

The exact same notices were sent about Wikileaks and Bradley Manning material.

And “you can’t make this stuff up” because you don’t have a security clearance, don’t understand the rules, and don’t understand the rules about classified leakage onto unclassified networks.

Just because something has been leaked doesn’t mean it is now declassified. All the same rules apply and classified leakage onto an unclassified computer requires that the computer be completely scrubbed.

His not dumping it all is a good strategy. The govt really doesn’t know how much or how little he has. It is a sort of insurance policy.

Yeah. They wouldn’t want the camp guards to get any idea of what is going on in the buildings.

The NSA also insists that all employees tell the truth, and they will know if anyone is lying.

Wikileaks, yes. Wapo? Not so much. I can see a total ban on a site that is malicious. But banning access to one story on a site otherwise accessible just proves what Wikileaks and Snowden are trying to prove. American geovernment security is a joke. A dangerous joke, because the joke’s on us.

You know, the Muslims must marvel at how this country actually managed to build Hoover Dam, win World War II, send men to the moon 40 years ago and advance medicine the way it has. They may actually have something, in that this is an inherently self-corrupting and degenerate culture, not to be emulated.
