George Zimmerman was found not guilty Saturday of the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., — and many are not happy about it.
Protests are taking place in cities across the U.S., and one of the larger protests is happening in New York City's Times Square. Thousands have taken to the streets to protest the verdict, shouting "No justice" and "Trayvon."
There's a large police presence to ensure the protests remain peaceful, and so far they have been. The protests, which began in Union Square, morphed into a march headed towards Times Square.

About 1,000 to 2,000 of the demonstrators abandoned the protest site at Union Square to march in the streets toward Times Square, slowing or stopping traffic.
Police attempted to funnel the crowd into controlled lanes but were unable to. Police halted the march about eight blocks short of Times Square, which was already packed with tourists, as is typical on a summer evening.
Although police tried to block marchers from moving into Times Square, that effort largely failed.
“This is a show of strength, but it’s also a show of solidarity with the family because last night, what happened, was complete disrespect to them,” Imani Henry, an activist with the People’s Power Assembly, told NBC News. “We want to show love and respect to them.”
Zimmerman shot and killed Martin in Feb. 2012, claiming self defense after the 17-year-old allegedly attacked him. The six-person jury in his trial were given the option to convict him of the lesser charge of manslaughter, but he was acquitted of all charges.
President Obama called for calm early Sunday after Zimmerman was set free.

Black community likes to show their strength by numbers, and it doesn't matter who those numbers come from....the Marxists and Socialist groups are coming out and sponsoring the signs we see . As we know this hasn't a thing to do with Zimmerman....it's about the blacks STILL unable to put the past behind them ...they can't let go of the victimhood mentality.
I say blacks should drive their liberal white overseers away from the crowd and show us they can stand on their own without the white whip crackers keeping them wound up.
No, that isn’t true. Here is where the weakness is: The real Black groups don’t like the Occupy movements.
They don’t like white kids from the suburbs coming in and marching on their turf. They do not like them taking credit, they do not like their methods.
Back in the Civil Rights marches, the Black Panters were always at war with the Martin Luther King marchers. And that same story line will happen again.
I have already seen it start to unfold on Ustream with the different groups.
But this time, none of them have the moral high ground, because they are being stirred by a corrupt government administration, so they will destroy each other in the end.

Possibly...but the fact remains they harm and k*ll each other just like the Muslims....and they recruit heavily from the black community because they know they are unafraid to harm others.
Tribalism always rises it’s head when it sees a cause it can use to rise with...the black community simply cannot let lose of their victim mentality....the heart of the matter...thugs or not...that is not going to go away.
