If I were a member of that jury, that spent my time and effort to deliver a verdict and put myself at risk...I would be livid.
In fact, I’m not a member of the jury...and I am livid.

All morning long on the Sunday talkies they were ginning up support for the Justus Department going after Zimmerman — but they won’t file diddly squat because they don’t want to be the federal equivalent of Angela Corey and what will now happen to her.
They have no case. They can’t win. The FBI already found no evidence of racism. And this jury verdict found no evidence of “hate” in their acquittal — the necessary element of a federal “hate crime”.

… At bottom, this is one more way of insisting that the individual no longer matters. It’s a way of claiming that what matters is the group an individual belongs to. In this instance, skin color defines the group. The primacy of the group over the individual is the true devastating operation in America. Individuals have freedom. Individuals have independence. Individuals have potential power. These elements are anathema to fascists.
Groups only have agendas. They seek fulfillment of those agendas through government. That kind of partnership increases, in the long run, the dominance of government.
Underneath it all, this is what we’re talking about here: individuals must go, only groups should remain.
LOL. The idea of a fed prosecution is an abject joke. No basis in the law. Pathetic thugs. That’s the way that TM looks like Obama. Thugs. Need to take our country back by ridiculing these people and their ludicrous thinking.
This Zimmerman acquittal is a gift (not from God) for the Democrat Party. If they didn’t have this case to try in Federal Court to rally their base for the 2014 elections, they’d have to create another one.
Their biggest challenge would be finding a jury to convict the guy. I suspect the unanimous “not guilty on all counts” verdict — and after only 16 hours of deliberation — is a pretty good indication of public sentiment in this case. They’d have a hard time getting even 2-3 jurors to convict Zimmerman in a Federal civil rights case, let alone 12.
Considering the FBI did a several months investigation involving over 10,000 man hours in to racial aspect of this incident and found———nothing. IMHO this is just puffery on the part of the Administration/DOJ to placate the unwashed masses that constitute their base.
Saving face. They got no cards, and their bluff was called. They were humiliated by six dames.

Zimmerman was not charged with a hate crime, he was not charged with murder 1, he was charged with murder 2 with an option of manslaughter, and was found innocent by a jury of his peers. Key to his acquittal was evidence that he was defending himself from an attack by Martin. How do you turn this into a civil rights case without - in effect - placing Zimmerman under double jeopardy?
Obama is going to side step the constitution again (the double jeopardy clause) and keep trying Zimmerman until he is in jail again. Zimmerman needs to get out of the country before he is locked up again.
I’ve said all along that if I were GZ, I’d pull a Snowden at the first opportunity. Screw this country and the little Hitler wannabe it elected.
All that said.... I hope GZ is out of the country already.

It's not about winning, it's about prolonging the narrative.
The other big elephant in the corner of this room is that nobody (including Martin’s family) will ever want to make this a case entirely about race. A big problem they face is that every racially-charged statement in this case — from “creepy-@ss cracker” to all the “n!ggas” in the text messages — have been attributed to Martin and/or his friends.
Martin (Obama’s son) was found with stolen property.
Of course, the DO”J” has no interest because the
property was stolen by a black hoodlum.
How many were previously murdered by Martin??
and how many are already murdered, or burnt alive,
by Holder?? and Obama??
