And much of American so-called “journalism” these days.

The media has no credibility, and this is a good example of of why. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. There should be a Nobel Prize category for pranks this good.

If my own local area tv news stations are any indication, Local tv news staff are probably among the stupidest people on the planet.

Instead of merely laughing I laughed my sox off.
Americans should stop and consider what is to be learned from it.
Nothing to be learned here. I've been aware of the caliber of the brain power of folks dancing across the little screen since Wally Cronkite retired his mustache brush.

Slurring the Pope, Mormons on Broadway, and Koreans in the news is OKay, but WW III is ready to start anytime someone satirizes the Koran, or names a football team? Cults like Scientology and Mormonism hardly fall in the same category as Korean Americans and the Pope of the Catholic church.

It’s on youtube. She says “Ho Li FOOK” very carefully.
I heard a radio quiz show winner give his name as “Al Kaholic”.

I have admit, I laughed so loud I had tears in my eyes.
Of
course it's black humor and inappropriate, but denying my reaction would be hypocritical.
That intern has a great future in Hollywood!
Or maybe Saturday Night Live.

The person actually guilty of the hoax is probably sitting at a desk in the KTVU newsroom eating popcorn. I know who it was.

Humor is destroyed by overanalysis.
It was a classic prank and a hilarious one.
All the navel-gazing needs to stop on both sides.
Agreed. And the person(s) who started the joke probably never thought it would hit the air. If I was a news organization, I would never settle for the word of an intern as well.
To: Kaslin
When agents of government cant be trusted to follow the laws of the land, it becomes more difficult to expect lawfulness from those whom government is supposed to serve. Seriously? Welcome to the party, author of this article.

The damage done in this situation is probably incalculable at this point. What drama queens. It was a prank and it was quite funny at that. These hand-wringers need to get a grip and move on.

The pilots and crew of Ethiopian Air were members of three tribes, the Mombaks, the Motisuh, and the Hahlawi.
