RE: State Attorney Angela Corey’s comments/news presser after the verdict last evening:
She was back-patting all those in the governmental offices who were involved in this case. She made it sounds as if they won.
Then, she went on to re-try the case — to her advantage — in the presser.
Her attempts at CYA and damage control were laughable.
That woman was despicable.
“Trayvon Martin was PROFILED” by George Zimmerman she shouted.
Say what?
Zimmerman was patrolling for suspicious activity. Trayvon looked suspicious.
Duh.
It’s what they want, to commit crimes, to be unimpeded for said crimes with inconvenient citizens protecting property, to be left alone for bogus court cases that would ideally put defenders of their persons in jail that we do not risk such an event should it happen to us.
