Some might ask: Antisemitism? How can there be antisemitism when no Jews at all were involved in this case?

My grandfather was in the Secret Service back in those days. He was sent to Mexico as part of an investigation as to what exactly the Germans were up to.
The answer is that it is completely unacceptable to endure such a trial if it is lacking in an element of antisemitism. As a Jew, personally, and with linguistic secrets claimed by “greats” I deny and sheesh-mohj any shlomak in these matters, beehl-bak others, and consign remainders to shmoobaah.
Sorry, nothing about this trial has anything to do with antisemitism - strictly black against white. Take that as you will but if you continue to think otherwise, you are taking it to a place that few recognize.

I think I know where you’re headed on this question: BHO2 was interested in this case because he is a Muslim and extremely anti-semitic. He fixated on the name, “Zimmerman”, before discovering that George was actually a Hispanic whose mother came from Peru, and had a black grandfather.

My mechanic is an observant Jew. I've had observant Jewish roofers, handymen, plumbers, etc. My friend's daughter's husband is a furniture designer/builder. Oh yeah, and veterinarians, accountants, attorneys, and doctors.
Zimmerman is usually a German name, a very common German name. Some Jews also have this name.

People seem to forget that Mr. Zimmerman’s face—and identity (other than his name) was kept out of the news for weeks after we were constantly bombarded with the photos of the 12 year cute little boy Trayvon. All that was known was a “Zimmerman” shot the poor little boy....
So yes, absolutely it was racist antisemitism...by the black leaders (Sharpton and Jackson) fueling a common African American prejudice against Jews....that led the way to charges and prosecution.
Zimmerman is a German name. Most Zimmermans are German. Many Jews have German names because a lot of Jews lived in German-speaking countries.
