Boehner: 'Vast majority' of House GOP wants to act on immigration; Pelosi points to support from 'Bible folks'
After months of being told to hurry up on immigration, it's time to wait.
House Republicans said they plan to act, but not in haste, after huddling in a closed-door meeting to discuss how to proceed on an immigration bill.
While the chamber intends to proceed on immigration, Speaker John Boehner reiterated on Thursday that the House would not take up the Senate immigration bill that passed last month with bipartisan support. Several House Republicans offered their perspectives on the issue during their meeting, Boehner said, concluding that “a vast majority” of the conference wants to see a bill passed that addresses border enforcement and the approximately 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally.

The source below says there was 184 by the end of June. If there were only 50 through May, June would have to have had 134. That's possible, but I don't think it happened.
According to the police department, there were 184 murders this year through the end of June, compared with 260 in 2012 and 188 in 2011.

They are not going to do it. There is not enough time left this year. The bills will still have to go through the committees and amendments and so on.
Plus, the GOP says if Reid goes through with the nuclear threat, the GOP will refuse to pass any legislation in the House until 2015.

1. Support an airtight and full-length physical fence, monitored by Border Patrol, with ROE to arrest, and
2. Do NOT support amnesty for illegal aliens, or the chain immigration, or any of the DEM fine print that you would know about if you ever did your homework, and
3. We will work tirelessly to PRIMARY-OUT all alleged GOPers who go wobbly on the amnesty for illegal alien issue.

It so gross watching these guys play the game. “Acting on immigration” can mean anything. I guess he has to wear a cup to ride the fence as much as he does. Or does he?
A couple families needs to take up residence in Boehner’s house and he can then welcome them into his family if he someday plans to build a fence around his yard. He can feed them, get them medical help, send their kids to college, and even let them vote to decide who should make the decisions in the home.
What about what We the People want? Don’t we matter? Build the damn fence and enforce the immigration laws we’ve already got on the books!!! We don’t need any more laws out of you guys!!!
