The A-320 series is highly dependable over its service life. I also liked riding in the A-340, but that might have been of a certain nostalgia for its four engine design, and its physical similarities with earlier airliners.

The A-340 is a good plane, but it is my understanding the airlines aren’t enamored with them because of fuel consumption. I like the A320, but really am a Boeing guy. Airbus noises bother me, but just because I am not used to them.

My fav though is the 747. I was once lucky enough to fly upstairs on a British Airways 747 on a 12 hour flight. Very cozy up there. Of course being in business class helped.
