WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will resign from her position to become president of the University of California system, government sources told Reuters on Friday.

Exactly...my first reaction as well.
The reports back to DC from Sanford, FL must be that a pretty quick verdict is expected...so instead of a “new” DHS chief an underling is temporary in charge for the Zimmerman riot fiascos to come.
Big Sis is out of the picture and a Deputy Assistsnt Blah, Blah, Blah falls on the sword and the absolute “need” for Martial Law is determined.

If the GZ jury comes in today? Tomorrow (are they sequestered?) or early next week...NO ONE is “in charge of DHS.” All kinds of BS excuses on transfers of the Leadership if the dept as a few American cities burn. Any “mistakes made”’can be blamed on underlings.
