GZ didn’t prove his innocence beyond a reasonable doubt

There was someone right here on FR the other day who said this same thing. Unbelievable.

If they are to acquit, they should be very angry with the prosecution and the judge.

In terms of fearing riots or for their own safety, my own thought would be, come out of the chute really fast, then let it be known that this case was clear, and ridiculous to have been brought given the supporting evidence for Z’s account of self defense.

The agonizing long-and-hard part lends credence to the state that it doesn’t deserve and the facts and law don’t back up.

I can imagine telling the public that they would not dream of sending Z to jail for decades to serve for something that was self defense.

Because Trayvon Martin is no longer living, their duty was to give the defendant a fair trial and do justice by him. TM is no longer here to be the center of their concerns for justice. Instead, they have to take care not to send an innocent man away for most of his life, and that’s what they did.

excellent....

we’ll be fine though, I’m sure. If they do riot, they’ll do it in their own neighborhoods because they are WUSSES at heart.

And, as Zimmerman didn’t have to prove his case rather the prosecution was supposed to have tried to prove theirs I have great hope actually.

Amen.
Lord, hear our prayer.
We *are* praying and I truly believe in the power of prayer.
I know all of us do.

I really appreciate you folks keeping us office-bound folks up to date.

I have been there - cubicle bound. I again appeal to we who have real time access that we keep those folks in mind as we post. A context paste helps keep the conversation coherent.

I learned that Z kept on saying “yes sir” to her unjudicial badgering on whether he wanted to testify. Maybe the resemblance to Chris Farley is so pronounced that Z couldn’t help himself but say that to her. He has to know she’s a she, but her appearance just was too much...
