WASHINGTON –Sen. John Cornyn has hired a prominent tea party organizer, Brendan Steinhauser, as his campaign manager.
It’s a smart pick for Cornyn, who’ll seek his third term next year. As former director of campaigns at FreedomWorks, Steinhauser brings sterling tea party credentials. He organized 30 events for Ted Cruz’s insurgent Senate campaign last year. And he led grassroots efforts that helped elect other partiers, Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, Mike Lee of Utah, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.

Just like McCain became a Schumer stooge, after HE was re-elected.
It will be discouraging if he is not even primary challenged. We are so screwed if we cannot even get rid of Senators like Cornyn, McCain, Graham.
Cornyn is being true to character (a pandering politcal whore). That he’s exploiting/exposing another Tea Party “Patriot” - well, at least we know we have one less person to trust.
But let’s face it, how many in the TP Movement are just a few bucks away from being a sellout? More than I care to think about. And as long as they can continue to print “money”, they can make anyone & everyone a sellout - all they have to do is negotiate price.

Hey Brinden, if you are a true American patriot you won’t compromise your own morals (selling out) by working to get a RINO reelected who is willing to use you just because of your Tea Party affiliation. Are you sorry yet that you helped Marco Rubio?? If not, you should be.
If this Steinhauser character is going to try to tell me that Cornyn is a TEA Party guy it’s going to be a tough sell. Cornyn’s ‘conservative’ credentials are hidden behind a stinking cloud of Murkowski, Specter, and Crist.
Sadly, history proves it.

We are trying to get Dwayne Stoval on the ballot down here in Texas. I met him the other night and I like him a lot. He is more TEAP PARTY and like Cruz. He is a smart guy and way more conservative then Cornyn!

Yes, it’s the 6 year Republican Senator locust cycle.
Five years of their lives they exist as mushy, Big Government, reach-across-the-aisle creatures.
But in that 6th year, they come out as hard core, full blown conservatives. Once the reelection has been secured, it’s back to that comfortable mushy middle again.
Cornyn, Alexander, Grahamnesty, etc.

Plus her father's connections down there couldn't hurt.
If he’ll work for Cornyn then he’s no “tea partier”. Just another phony who wants to cash in.
