One common sense action in this circus.

As she ought to have. It was preposterous.

BUT she told the jury they could rule on a lesser charge of manslaughter, which he is not charged with. He should be a free man.

Because the ridiculous “child abuse” charge was the underlying charge.

A real judge should probably have sanctioned the idiot for trying to file it in the first place.

Good. I was thinking the idea was straight from the DOJ. It would have been automatic grounds for appeal, I think, since the defense never had time to prepare for that charge.

Good news! I feared she would let it stand.

The prosecution is desperately pulling any rabbit out of the hat they can to get any kind of conviction against Zimmerman. Even if the rabbit is dead and decayed nad has absolutely no life in it.

Zimmerman was attacked by Martin. After all of the testimony, that is absoluteely clear. Zimmerman violoated NO law, and yet Martin sucker punched Zimmerman in the nose, breaking his nose and knocking him to the ground. Martin then climbed on top of the prostrate Zimmerman and was beating him, knocking his head into the ground and cement. Zimmerman's screams for help are hysteric, panicked, and clearly a person fearing for his life.

Zimmerman finally shot in defense of his life. Killing a 17 year old who is in the act of beating you senseless and possibly beating you to death is not child abuse.

The very idea would make reason stare, and would be just another affront to, and travesty of justice. At least the Judge recognized this and rejected it.

Now, I pray, with all my heart, that the Jury comes back with an innocent on all counts verdict, and that they do so very, very quickly. I also pray that the Standford and other local...and heck, nation-wide police and Sheriff's departments are prepared to put down whatever rioting results from such a verdict.

The race baiters, politicians, and liberal media people who are stirring up and inciting this travesty need to be cut down to size...cut off at the knees. They need to be themselves prosecuted for their incitement to violence and conspiracy to subvert the law.

ThE TRUTH ABOUT LIBERAL ILLOGIC

Don't know if it's true, but I read somewhere that in Florida, manslaughter is automatically a lesser included charge for any murder charge.

I thought Ozzie Osborne was a brunette.

He looks good with a blonde wig and actually sounds coherent. Knew that law degree he got from the back of a match book would one day come in handy.

Can she be impeached? Or recalled since she was actually elected? If neither, when is she up for reelection?

It was a “make weight” request by the prosecution — intended to force the defense to fight that instead of the manslaughter charge (which is the one the prosecution really wanted)

Don’t go to Florida, that is the message from all this publicity. You have no rights to defend against crime in Florida. They will use every ridiculous antiquated law even “stalking” because you decided to go there. It’s a micro picture of our nation. Staycations are the only way to be safe.

There is a growing flash point now on whichever side wins or loses. If Zimmerman is convicted after all of this nonsense, he will be viewed as a political prisoner. If acquitted the usual suspects, abetted by the MSM will try to incite violence. Let’s hope the jurors have the courage to acquit.
