Hmmm sounds like the prosecutor is grasping at straws.
Anything to get him into prison....she has her orders.
The judge’s cajoling of Zimmerman ought to be grounds for a mistrial.
Someone mentioned today that in florida that manslaughter inclusion is automatic. There is nothing for the judge to consider unless she’s thinking of making it a parking violation.
But the self defense plea has the same veracity for manslaughter. If he’s not guilty of murder due to a persuasive self defense plea, he’s not guilty of manslaughter.
What the jury does NOT know and will not find out is if they convict Zimmerman of manslaughter he serves life in prison..because there was a gun used and the “Victim” was under the age of 18 its automatic 30 year sentence

Of course she’s gonna give a lesser charge instruction to this jury. The fix is in, she knows there’s noway to get a Guilty on 2nd degree so she’ll throw a life raft to the prosecution and add a lesser charge, however, it shouldn’t be added.
On one level it’s sort of funny to watch this judge act pro prosecution. I’m guessing it’s a first for her. I have a feeling she will be stepping down from the bench in about 18 months. It will be quiet, but she will be gone.

I’ve watched most of the so-called “trial” on one of my monitors. It has been sickening. A kangaroo court. Only in a state that would let a woman slowly die would you see such trash. Florida is a trashy, low life state as far as the politicians there. From Jeb Bush to the current moron that is Gov. Florida has turned in to a dysfunctional backwards third world cesspool.
My ‘cynical self’ thinks DOJ (and BO) want a not guilty, have a day or so of ‘civil unrest’ (why am I so kind) THEN turn around and charge and try GZ under the Fed statutes.
Win-Win for the admin, they get to ‘allow’ a little unrest, then ride in and save the day and get Zim on the Fed charges, throwing in a ‘hate crime’ while they are at it.
I think they should just give GZ a gun while in the dock and tell him to off himself. That should ‘please’ everyone.
Oh yes, how many people have been charged with the (supposed) death threats directed at GZ on twit, tweet, twat or whatever?
Of course ‘the Fed’ will say it is impossible to find the threateners. Try threatening one of the ‘beautiful people’ on the Social Enema (oops I meant Media) circuit...and see how much ‘freedom’ you have...
This whole Zimmerman Arrest and trial is just a witch hunt. Makes me sick to my stomach. I am a salesrep that covers the Orlando area and I for one am not going to be anywhere near there the early part of next week.
Zimmerman will be charged for “NWC While in a GC” (Neighborhood Watch Captain While in a Gated Community)!

This is a trap! In Florida manslaughter against a minor is 30 years, and the jurors probably don’t know that.
Sounds like double jeopardy to me.
There should have been a mistrial after she spoke directly to Zimmerman...IMHO....
