MooCowSki is from Alaska, not Arkansas.

What great journalists at the Washington Compost.

It doesn’t matter what the people of Utah think since this is Hatch’s final term. He pulled the same bait and switch McCain did. Voters are idiots.

Precisely. I’ve dealt with a number of business owners in my career. Privately, they all tell me that they prefer to hire straight white guys. Not because of bigotry, discrimination or anything of the sort. Simply because a straight white guy can be fired with zero consequences if they can’t do the job.

They’re interpreting the Supreme Court Decision last month as a license to kill. And they will viciously push the envelope until they are stopped.

Exactly. However, due to the tight economy, I might regretfully eliminate your position a few months later - after having been completely supportive of your freakishness diversity.

I will hire anyone who is qualified to do the job and seems pleasant to work with. Several years ago I interviewed someone who happened to be lesbian who was a referral from a member of my team. The interviewee had previously worked at the company, had left, and then wanted to come back.

During the course of the interview, it was revealed that during her previous employment with us, she completed a graduate degree from a pricey private school that was paid for through company tuition reimbursement. Immediately upon graduation, she resigned and took a better job with that very university.

Now, five years later, she wanted to come back. I did not hire her though she was otherwise competitively qualified. The scuttlebutt in the office was that I rejected her for sexual orientation. That wasn't it. I rejected her because she showed poor ethics in having the company pay for her education then immediately parlaying it into a job elsewhere. The company expected to benefit from the $40,000 it invested in her. It didn't seem to dawn on her that what she did wasn't right.

She asked how she could have interviewed differently to get the job. I was noncommital as you can get sued for saying anything these days. I wonder if she still believes it was because she was homosexual and not poor ethics.

Oh, and the rules have changed on tuition reimbursement. Now if you resign within a year, you have to pay it all back; within two years, 50%; within three years, 25%.

"Good for business"? Do these sick freaks even believe their own BS? I wonder (in an idle sort of way) how much they are motivated by back room deals that line their pockets and how much by demoniac ideology. Equal equal?

Isn't there another bill that has to pass the House? Has it already? Will it? Not being able to use discernment and good judgement when hiring/not hiring mentally ill sex perverts is abominable. Of course the DoJ and probably most Fedgove agencies/bureaus etc make special outreach to mentally ill sex perverts, they want everyone else to as well. But suppose there aren't enough mentally ill sex perverts to go around? I guess that's what public schools are for, to create more of them.

Anyone wanting on/off any of my ping lists, freepmail me.

Note my comment above. At this rate there won’t be enough mentally ill sex perverts to go around!

How about straight, heterosexual, historic marriage discrimination?

I should go to every gay business I can to demand service.

Kidding, wouldn’t waste my time... and I can’t go there, it’s not me.

ENDA is not a nondiscrimination act. It is a promote homosexuality or else act. Its just another tool to push leftist progressive politics into the workplace. If the GOP let this through the party deserves to die.
