Day the streets ran red with blood: Egypt edges towards civil war
The Daily Mail ^ | 8 July 2013 | Simon Tomlinson and David Williams

Egypt was plunged further towards civil war yesterday after dozens of supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi were shot dead by the army.

More than 50 people were killed and 435 injured in an attack condemned by Turkey as a ‘massacre’.

The clash has led to calls from Islamists for an all-out rebellion against the military – which ousted the democratically-elected leader in a coup last week.

The killings took place outside the Republican Guard building in Cairo, where some believe Mr Morsi is being held.

Wonder if, in lieu of sending $$$, Janet will ship a couple million hollow points.

So, country wide, kill 50 Morsi supporters, it is a massacre. Loyalists to Morsi kill 85 students at a college, it is just ‘protests got out of hand.’

Bias much?

Oh, right, of course it's a massacre, after all... The clash has led to calls from Islamists for an all-out rebellion against the military – which ousted the democratically-elected leader in a coup last week.

It is a coup when the people rise up and demand the ouster of a dictator? Well, apparently it is if it's Morsi. When it is the people rising up and demanding the military ouster Mubark, it was Arab Spring.

The sole standard that liberals have: double standards.

This has the potential to be very good news for the rest of the world. The reformation was bloody in Europe but after the dust settled Europe was much better because of it. This may finally be an equivalent Islamic reformation.

If such a thing is possible it took much longer to occur due to the very oppressive nature of Islam.

I find it amusing that Obama wanted an Islamic regime but God , who is an expert at turning evil into good, had other plans.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. In the meantime, I have a joke to share with you.

The Saudi Ambassador to the UN has just finished giving a speech, and walks out into the lobby where he meets President Bush.

They shake hands and as they walk the Saudi says, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."

President Bush says "Well your Excellency, anything I can do to help you, I will do."

The Saudi whispers "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it there are Russians, and Blacks, and Asians, but never any Arabs. He is very upset. He doesn't understand why there are never any Arabs in Star Trek."

President Bush laughs and leans toward the Saudi, and whispers back, "It's because it takes place in the future...."

Muslims shooting Muslim Brotherhood members?

President O’Bozo isn’t going to like this at all.

That’s not what he gave them all those guns and airplanes and tanks for.

Q: Why was the Mohammad stamp canceled?

A: Too many people were spitting on the wrong side.

Good point. Funny, I don’t recall the calls to cut off funding when Mubarak was forced out.

This article is biased in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.

For example, the account of yesterday morning’s attack on the Republican Guard HQ is the opposite of what actually occurred. There is no mention of the MB killing its own and portraying that as the work of the army. All the images but one are of MB supporters acting out a grievance.

A city of over 9 million-— sure, a massacre.

Well, if it was limited to just Cairo, you’d be correct. But that 50 number is the entire country of 80 million. Let’s put this in perspective... In Chicago, a city of 2.707 million, 10 people were killed last weekend. Meaning that you’ve got a 1 in 270,000 chance of dying. In Egypt, there was 50 out of 80,000,000 or a 1 in 1,600,000 chance.

Six times as likely to die in random violence in Chicago than in the middle of a massacre in Egypt.

Clearly the problem here is that the federal government hasn’t shut off funding to the city of Chicago until they resolve these human rights violations.

Oh good grief. By American Civil War standards this barely qualifies as a small skirmish. Or by WWII Russian Front standards this would barely make it to a daily report.

It is a start. Kill every one of the MB. They apparently are subhuman cockroaches who’s sole reason for existence is to kill everyone else.
