No surprise here. It was just a matter of time until W. jumped in to do what he could to get the illegal alien amnesty bill passed. Bush always had a soft spot for illegal Mexicans. Probably from his years growing up in Texas and knowing all those friendly Mexican workers around his fathers house landscaping, doing laundry, cleaning, etc.

In the final analysis G.W. has the right to his opinion and his pimping for an amnesty bill is not going to carry much weight with anyone but fellow RINOs - who would vote for it, anyway.

How can we have an honest discussion when one side can change the terminology to favor their point of view before the first argument is made. We need to get off the (illegal) immigrant term and start calling them what they are. How about Mexican colonists if invaders is too harsh. You really have to subjugate your intelligence to think this is just an “immigration” issue.

Good point. Obama and the demonRATs can and have said anything about Bush they wanted and he remained silent. But he speaks up now to push for amnesty?! The man obviously has his priorities and I believe getting amnesty passed (something he couldn’t do) is a priority.

It's mainly Mexicans, but since the 1965 immigration act they are letting in leftist scum from all the 3rd world countries, by the millions. this is why the country has moved left, why gov keeps growing ( the main reason anyway). look at california and you'll see the future of the USA. all because of the 1965 immigration act. before that immigrants were white Europeans so the democrats changed it to set up racial marxism and it's working ( look at california and hell holes like detroit that are mostly minority and run by democrats, pure hell there . this stupid amnesty bill just makes things worse.
