I wouldn't bet on it... I'm willing to bet that he's the same hard core leftist. But at the same time, remember that many in the "black power" movement, like Malcom X were all for gun ownership.
Just because he supports this one right doesn't mean he's changed.

Thanks for the link.
Interesting...plainly and unapologetically put: “It’s our last defense against tyranny. It’s not about hunting.”
Lol, and there’s no way that hapless interviewer can counter it.
“God commands that a person has a right to the truth...”
Actually, I’m not familiar with that particular edict, except for the commandment to not bear false witness.
But it is a huge step from that to the other rights I mentioned. A lot of it goes to the relationship of the parties involved. That is, of Heaven and the individual, of individuals to other individuals, and of individuals in contention with each other whose dispute is mediated by a judge.
Biblical law in its origins was very harsh, at the time of Moses, it was much like the later code of Hammurabi, and much later, Sharia law. Eye gouging, amputation, execution for many crimes, etc. Talmudic jurisprudence dispensed with much of the wanton cruelty over the years, but in essence it remained a minor Asiatic system of law.
By the time of the Romans, the Hebrews were a tiny, unimportant realm in a corner of the great empire, intellectually of no consequence to it. And it was at this time that Roman law, and the law of the pagan tribes of Gaul came into being.
Legal systems were pretty much established by the time Christianity began to dominate the western world.
The last part of that speech is interesting.
“Don’t blame the cracker for the injustice to the negro, blame the US government for those injustices.”
I don’t think I could discuss gun control with a Brit without being insulting. :-)
