WASHINGTON—A high-powered rifle lost in the ATF’s Fast and Furious controversy was used to kill a Mexican police chief in the state of Jalisco earlier this year, according to internal Department of Justice records, suggesting that weapons from the failed gun-tracking operation have now made it into the hands of violent drug cartels deep inside Mexico.
Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire. Also killed was one of his bodyguards. His wife and a second bodyguard were wounded.

No, it wasn't so-called "lost:" it was delivered to Mexican narcotics gangsters, (and I assume the proceeds of the transfer ended up in the coffers of the Democratic [sic] party, though no one seems interested in following the money.)

Why don’t they also report on the, “No busts in return for intel”-arrangement that Holder struck with the Gulf Cartel.
They’d give us detailed info on the loads and routes of rival cartels, which we would then bust big-time. And then all the loads of the Gulf Cartel would get through.
So we’d look like these incredibly good enforcers, when in fact the US Government was just a PARTNER with a cartel.
Which was why those other targeted cartel guys killed our Customs guy down there —they viewed him as a de-facto MEMBER of the Gulf Cartel.
