After spending weeks dealing with the fallout from the IRS targeting scandal, Tea Party groups are starting to focus their energy on the immigration bill -- a development that could imperil President Obama's hopes for a speedy approval.
Before adjourning for the Fourth of July holiday break, the Senate easily approved its version of the legislation. The bill now rests with the House, where Republicans say they will take up their own version. Obama, during his Africa trip, called on the House to "get this done" before the August recess.
But House lawmakers already are hearing conservative calls to slow things down. And if the debate leaks into August -- when Congress takes a nearly month-long recess -- the prospects could get even more wobbly. The Tea Party, during the 2009 August recess, famously helped stall ObamaCare by storming town hall meetings and other events.
Tea Party groups may be preparing to again mount demonstrations during the summer break. And even if the House passes a bill this month, it's unlikely the two chambers would be able to agree on a unified piece of legislation by August -- leaving the work unfinished going into recess.
While Tea Partiers await that opening, they're already beginning to stir the pot.

I’ve noticed that businessmen are weak on this issue.
Since they’re businessmen, driven by need for profits, they hire illegal aliens for seasonal work, whether it be agriculture or construction, then ignore the social and government costs when those workers do not have jobs. All they’re interested in is making the greatest amount of money and paying out the least amount of wages.
It is imperative when in business to have a strong moral compass, just as in politics.
Communists/Progressives recognize that fact, and use it as bait. Dare call it greed? That is what it is.

who is voting for the Bill and who is up for re-election. politicians are interested in saving their political career ONLY Not what is Right for the country. If they go in to reconcilation I doubt they will get those 14 republican votes now
Due to past contributions, I constantly receive emails and letters from the Republican Party requesting money.
I always respond “I am not giving any money until the “comprehensive” immigration bills are dropped. If they are not dropped, I am never giving money again.”
Many things that should happen don't. But I hope enough people will notice (the media is not going to tell them) Obama's treachery (with GOP help of course) this time.
Congresscritters are aware of what happened in 2009, and to me it looks like many of them will try to avoid meeting the public this time. When I called my Rep's office to ask when he will appear in public they said, for security reasons, they could not reveal his schedule.
I hope they put the RINO’s back right up against the wall. There is very little hope left except for the Tea Party.
I think any Republican who truly stands up against an immigration sell-out right now, will have a Presidential contest spot.
What they do with that, is another matter. But I believe it is that simple:
Stand against an immigration sell-out, means a Presidential candidacy.

Have known a couple of those Republican illegal immigrant employers myself. Not all are big business. They are just thinking of themselves and their profit line. Company and community be damned. Our most powerful weapon really is to stop all business with these illegal immigrant slavers. If you see a lot of immigrants on your work site, fire the company. Report all companies that employ illegals. Boycott em and shut em down.
The most important one has been stopped. Gun control. That means we still have all the power.

It is real easy to tell a legal immigrant from an illegal immigrant. Just ask them who their favorite football team is.
I see a lot of illegals at Home Depot and Leows. the law enforcement never bothers them but If Americans don’t have a seat belt on then they are all them or if Americans are conservatives then big sis and Lois lerner say these are the terrorists (middle America).
