Yeah the bull about no rules immigration is an idiotic lie anyway. My great grandfather had very strict rules when he came into Detroit by way of Canada in 1912. Those rules included filing an intent to immigrate and become an American citizen. He had to swear that he wasn't an anarchist or a polygamist as well as officially renouncing his citizenship of Hungary.

It still took him more than a decade before he gained full citizenship.
