Effort to Oust Attorney General Eric Holder Gains Momentum

The New American
02 July 2013

Last month, more than 75 Republicans in the House of Representatives joined the effort to pass legislation on ousting scandal-plagued Attorney General Eric Holder (shown), bringing the total number of representatives seeking his immediate resignation to over 130. Even some Democrats have added their voices to the growing chorus. The myriad scandals surrounding the Obama administration, meanwhile, continue to escalate as the president tries to deflect accountability.

The bid to oust disgraced Attorney General Holder began about two years ago following explosive whistleblower revelations regarding Operation Fast and Furious. The federal program, which was eventually exposed in Congress and the media by brave ATF agents, put thousands of weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

Official documents later revealed that the resulting violence — hundreds of Mexicans and at least two U.S. federal agents were killed with Fast and Furious guns — was being used to advance gun control in America. While much of the media tried to portray the deadly operation as a “botched” investigation, it also emerged later that the two supposed "drug lords" and “targets” being "investigated" were on the FBI’s payroll.

After Congress found out about the scheme, Holder lied on numerous occasions, and he continues trying to cover up the crimes by refusing to hand over subpoenaed documents to congressional investigators. In June of 2012, the attorney general was even held in criminal contempt of Congress on a bipartisan vote, giving him the dubious distinction of being the first sitting Cabinet member in U.S. history to face such charges.

The question I ask all of these so called representatives of the people is this: Why bother? Eric Holder is NOT the problem, he is a symptom. He is no more than a hand picked emissary of The One. Get rid of him and Obama will insert another racist fascist who will continue the EXACT same policies and acts.

Getting rid of Holder is pissing into the wind. It’s more talk tough, do nothing from Republicans. Symbolism, nothing else. Everything he has done, is doing, will continue full force with his replacement. And the really offensive thing is they all know that, don’t think for a minute they don’t.

This is all so disgusting.

I was thinking more in terms of tarring and feathering, but your idea is probably more practicable.

I’d like to give him a pistol and 3 magazines, drop his sorry ass over the border and tell him, “ We’ll let you back when you bring back the guns. Vaya con Dios, maricon”

“Gains momentum”, that is funny. Eric Holder probably thinks this is funny too, this will be about as effective as their 150 votes to repeal Obamacare. All 535 members of this impotent congress couldn’t make Eric Holder pay a damn parking ticket if he didn’t feel like doing it, and Eric Holder and 300 million Americans know this too. He needs pay no attention to them, these dummies just make noise like this every once in a while, pretty sad.

Holder is liken a deeply embedded TICK. You can only get him out by cutting or a lit match.

It is going to take criminal complaints to cripple him so let Congress (the House) do its thing and dig deep and dig hard into Holder’s past.

I would say that his role in the Clinton pardons would be a good place to start.

Let me reprint something from the Wash. Times, 10/16/96, “US Attorney Blames Barry For Crime Wave” - Holder Calls NY a Model, Urges Larger role for Mayor” (i.e. Guiliani was the NY Mayor he was referring to. How ironic!)

“US Attorney Eric H. Holder Jr. said yesterday that DC Mayor Marion Barry and other city leaders have lacked the “political will” to do what is necessary to reduce crime in the nation’s capital.”

“Renewing his call for AN OUTSIDE REVIEW to determine what the DC police department needs to do its job - and then to make certain that the department gets it - Holder said, “People have go to step up to the plate.”

THAT IS WHAT THE REPUBLICANS AND HONORABLE DEMOCRATICS MUST DO - STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND GET RID OF HOLDER! Imagine quoting Holder’s own words in attempting to get rid of him.

There is justice out there. It is just a little slow in coming.

A cheap 22 with 7-round mags and old ammo. If he returns we send his sorry butt to room with his buds in Gitmo - zero should go with him.

If Holder had one SHRED of decency and honor, he would resign. However, considering that he’s a DUMBOCRAT, of course he has no decency or honor.
