Don’t worry about me, assassin of Terri Schiavo...I am not a Republican. Most decent conservatives are turning their back on the Republican Party.

Ole Jeb is just being a good little Anti American trying to pave a path for his half Mexican kid to the White House.

Conservatives to Jeb Bush: Stop rolling over and doing the bidding of the Democratic Party. Governor, supporting this new version of amnesty will ensure the Dems total control of congress for a generation or more and speed up the destruction of the GOP. Does that matter to you or was that what you wanted all along?

Yep. They just love Manuela the cleaning lady and Jose the gardener, so the rest of us (which is the overwhelming majority of Americans) have to pay all the real costs of illegal immigration, amnesty, etc. The few who this will benefit just couldn’t care less.

Oh, how I’m sick of RINOs. Oh, how I’m sick of the Bush family. Oh, how I’m sick of the establishment GOP arrogance.

Jebby's certainly not getting much support at the WSJ article site.

Hey, Jeb...there are several traitors, er, Pubbies who've helped pave the way for this debacle.

The “cheap labor” argument never made sense.

RINO’s kids are going to pay all the excess GOP profits they expect when illegals-become-voters and raise Taxes.

Jeb is correct. The Republicans need to quit being an obstacle to immigration reform, and START being an obstacle to Amnesty. They need to call it what it is.

The solution is real immigration reform.

1. Seal the border, make the fines for hiring illegals so steep that no one wants to risk it, and make the penalties for being here illegally so steep that no one wants to risk it. In particular, all illegals caught in our country, whether they entered illegally or overstayed, should be fingerprinted, DNA swabbed, and banned for life from any legal entry and from any path to citizenship.

2. Once the border is secure, fix the legal immigration system, streamlining the process so that legal immigrants whose presence is beneficial to our country can come more quickly and more easily, and so they can return home for special occasions and then come back here to continue working. Keep border enforcement and employment enforcement strict - forever.

I’m not anti-Hispanic or anti-immigrant. I’m anti-criminal, and I’m disgusted with any Republican who does not share that position. Conservatives are supposed to believe in the rule of law. Any Republican who wants to reward criminals is no conservative and will not have my support.

Not to mention the increase in crime and all the costs that entails (which isn’t merely monetary), states giving them out-of-stae tuition rates, the costs of entitlements, etc.

And to top it off, I recently read a study which says that the second and third generations are just as likely, if not more likely, to be on welfare. That’s quite possible, IMO, as they no longer need to “assimilate” and become Americans,

Stop Being 'Obstacle' to Immigration Reform

We're just doing the work Republicans don't want to do.
