Edward Snowden, the man at the heart of the NSA information leaks, is nothing but a “traitor” — and America ought to recreate history in dealing with him, real estate mogul Donald Trump said on a “Fox & Friends” interview.
In other words, execute him, Mr. Trump implied.
“I think Snowden is a terrible threat, I think he’s a terrible traitor, and you know what we used to do in the good old days when we were a strong country — you know what we used to do to traitors, right?” Trump said, Politico reported.
“Well, you killed them, Donald,” said fill-in host, Eric Bolling.
Mr. Trump’s response: Well, he is damaging America. “This guy is really doing damage to this country, and he’s also making us look like dopes,” he said, Politico reported.
“We can’t allow this guy to go out there and give out all our secrets and also embarrass us at every level. We should get him back and get him back now.”

I actually agree with Trump. Coming out and revealing this information in the U.S. is one thing. He could be here right now, fighting the good fight, or perhaps never bothering to release his identity to begin with. Running over to Russia and other criminal regimes, giving them this information and the opportunity to gloat over us, is an entirely different thing on the other hand. He should be caught, captured, tried and charged with treason, as should anyone else who does likewise.
Given Trump’s “colorful” history, I’m sure his PRISM/NSA files are a lot more detailed and explicit than most... and he knows it.
Apparently that policy changed when John Kerry and Jane Fonda hit the scene.

Very good point! I'm one who's been on the fence about this Snowden guy. Just because he did something that exposed Obama does not mean he's really 100% on our side. Seems like all the places he tries to escape to are places that would be very interested in our international secrets.

That’s what Obama wants to do and has been doing. Snowden appears to be working for him in this mission.

I haven’t seen any indication that he has released anything concerning sources and methods to any foreign country, yet, and the fact that the NSA was spying on phone and emails and on countries like China has been common knowledge for years. Any terrorist who didn’t know that their calls and emails were being tapped are really really stupid terrorists and are probably already dead.

He’s a hot potato that is having a problem finding a country willing to catch him. Brazil just rejected Snowden’s request for asylum.
I wonder if Trump has any idea of elsewhere our secrets are being given. I also believe that USA secrets should remain such for the benefit of USA citizens but I have a feeling this is not the case/situation with Obama and his enablers such as Jarret. I’d bet the King of Saudi Arabia knows more about what secrets the USA has than even our Congresspersons.
Just because the man exposes a democrat does not suddenly make him our freedom fighter anymore than the Westboro Baptist Church's anti-homosexual comments should make us suddenly follow those people while they protest US soldier / Boston victim funerals.

By the way, I'm still on the fence about whether or not Snowden is a hero or a villain but recently I am tilting towards the latter. The man walked into the home of the enemy with national security secrets. Those enemies would be willing to pay a lot for that information or even stage an accident and just do away with the guy all together. His choice of countries (China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba) make me a bit suspicious about the man's objective.
How about we try him in court first, Mr. Trump?

I'm shocked at how some have hotly and brazenly attack a man who is exposing the abuse done to the American people by the ones whom we have been entrusted to protect our freedom and our Constitutional rights.
