NY Times ^ | 7/1/13 | JEREMY W. PETERS

Fox News viewers in Florida will see a new commercial in the coming weeks urging them to call Senator Marco Rubio. “Thank him for keeping his promise, and fighting to secure the border,” a narrator says in the ad, which is paid for by the conservative American Action Network.

Another group, Americans for a Conservative Direction, led by former Gov. Haley Barbour of Mississippi and other top Republicans, has been running ads in Iowa lately that implore those watching to “stand with Marco Rubio to end de facto amnesty.”

The republican national committee called me this week looking for money. I told them I only contribute directly to conservative candidates in order to avoid another rubio.

rubio killed himself and a large portion of the republican party.

he’s a democrat in drag and we will never trust him, or anyone who supports him, again

“stand with Marco Rubio to end de facto amnesty.”

... by making it overt and explicit amnesty instead.

From here: Interesting that they refuse to stand before their constituents and explain why they voted FOR amnesty. Voting scores from Heritage Action for these CINO basturds:

Marco Rubio, 82 (that's surprising)
Jeff Flake, 64
Linda Graham, 50
John McCain, 48

I see Haley ‘mushmouth’ Barbour is the head of the organization funded by Zuckerberg that’s been running the pro immigration ads during Limbaugh’s show.

Once a hero, now a zero to me.

DC euphemisms are funny. Americans for a Conservative Direction is as misnamed as the Affordable Care Act.

And note the NYT says "conservative American Action Network." LINK: Their video says the senate amnesty is supported by conservative (that word again) leaders like Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Jeb Bush

Will FL GOP voters buy it?

If Rubio wins his primary ( a big if), he will lose to whoever the Dems run. A huge chunk of conservatives will refuse to support him. He’s done.

The out-and-out lies show just how desperate the GOP-e really is. Rubio kept his promise? They really do think we are a bunch of idiots.

Rubio has single handidly pushed lifelong Republicans like me out of the Party. Rubio owns this...and I hope he has to eat this raw and cold every day for the rest of his life.

RE :”And note the NYT says “conservative American Action Network.” LINK: Their video says the senate amnesty is supported by conservative (that word again) leaders like Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Jeb Bush”

The most interesting part of that list is the inclusion of Rand Paul.

As you recall Rand mouth-talked amnesty as a positive general principle and he sweet talked Hispanics on it and not a surprise to me (or Perdogg) he voted against the bill and never actually said he supported it, but said he might if it was changed regarding border, he teased it..

So the massive $$$ amnesty coalition has all those clips of Rand Paul to use for their objective to pass amnesty but he ‘opposed’ the bill,

Rand is pretty slick(as a negative) too. And ironically Paul and Rubio are philosophical opposites. Paul is libertarian and Rubio is neocon(ie McCain, Grahamnesty)

Is this what we will see in 2016?

Yes.
