Wise choice. Ecuador was a poor choice IMO.

It must be a rational choice. Neither Bolivia nor Venezuela are able to guarantee him safety in a long run. Cuba and Russia are a different story but Cuba can’t offer desired quality of living. Bad thing is in other news Putin said he don’t like to see a useless traitor there.

Yep. In Ecuador he’d be a sitting duck for a drone or some sort of hit squad. Barry won’t have the balls to pull any of that on Vlad’s home turf.

I agree, Russia is the right place for now

I also believe Snowden found proof that Obama told Putin to "mind your own business and stop killing the good chechen people" when Russia told us of the Boston Bombers.....and Putin knows it.

I wonder what his view is on gay rights: for marriage adoption.

I would expect him to be liberal on social issues coming from here (Maryland).

He must be seeking asylum away from the gays by emigrating to Putin’s Russia.

He was a depressed Obama supporter. Said that he realized that Obama lied to voters.

Is there any Obama voter who isn't having buyer's remorse?

Four threads down from this one Putin says “Snowden not welcome in Russia.”

Strange statement. If they're travelling together and Snowden is in Moscow, then the activist must be in Moscow as well.

Now which country in the world has a consulate on its own soil? None, to my knowledge.

Snowden found proof that Obama told Putin

Snowden didn’t say ‘... including the President..’ for nothing. Something outraged him, and it very well may have been Boston, and probably Benghazi.

Yes! Most of them still love him. Some are making excuses by saying they voted for him because they hate Palin so much. That would be funny if it wasn’t so damned stupid.

Six years ago Snowden was working in a CIA station in Geneva, Switzerland as a technical specialist. Snowden said it was in Switzerland that he became disillusioned after learning about tactics the CIA used to recruit agents. It could be Snowden came in contact with Russian diplomatic or intelligence operatives and was persuaded to work for the Russians.

Russian intelligence may have suggested he secure a job with USIS, the NSA contractor, for the purpose of collecting anything that might be useful. Snowden made his revelation about U.S. hacking of Chinese secrets just days before Obama was to meet with the Chinese head of state. At that meeting Obama was supposed to bring up the issue of Chinese hacking.

So if Snowden has been working for the Russians for six years they get a load of NSA secrets, they damage the NSA surveillance program, plus they get to embarrass the U.S. and Obama with an international scandal.

NSA has been on a mole hunt for years. This whole thing stinks to me.

Asylum? Hah! I think he just went home (new or otherwise).

Pretty soon, Snowden will be starting an Americans in exile movement in Russia where US Citizens can flee the Obummer and soon-to-be Hildabeast White House. They can then plot strategies on how to make a political return to America. Didn’t Leftist Americans do this about a hudred years ago where they flocked to Paris? Well, the Leftists were very succesful upon their return they took over the media, academia and the Democrat Party.
