There is certainly a claim that Al Banna, the MB founder, had brit approval during the time he was a member of *another* secret society, sort of precursor. Also, it would be quite consistent with how the brits did things - they’d set small pots boiling all over the place. In 1948 for example, they told the arabs that “the jews were coming to throw them out”.
Also, of course, Al Banna was nazist. And in the thirties, the brits quite liked the nazists.
Besides what Hardraade has already confirmed, when the mb ws outlawed, they were allowed to INCORPORATE themselves in britain as a legitimate political group headquartered in London.
Something else few people know...bashar assad was created out of whole cloth by britain AND the USA. Right down to his optometrist status. They thought he would be easier to control than his mysteriously killed in a car wreck brother, but the Iraqis moved in on him immediately and completely shut britain and the US out.
