...In 1997, while in Hong Kong to write about the British handover of that city to the mainland government, I visited the pastor of one of the largest house churches in China with a missionary friend who knew him. Pastor Lamb, as he was called, was in his 70s at the time. He told me he had spent half his life in prison for preaching the gospel. I asked him if the Public Security Bureau still came around to observe his activities.
Not so much now, he replied.
Why not? I asked.
Because, he said, every time they threw me in prison, the church grew.

Many of our religious leaders are apparently too afraid to stand up against the growing perversion that is flooding our culture and government....and are thereby allowing the flocks they are shepherding to be led astray by rulers who are immoral....
And eventually this may well result in those of us who do NOT bow the knee to the perversion of this world becoming fodder for the lions....
But do not be ashamed of the Gospel or of Jesus...even in the darkest days, as Brother Lamb of China can attest, the Light of Heaven shines!

As one of those who clings to God and guns, as one who has watched Hobby Lobby, and as one who has listened to the evil thug in our White House make promises on who he would side with between Christianity and Islam, I'd say it's already here. But the point is right; it will get much worse very quickly.
The slaughter comes to each of us, whether by the hand of a tyrant or nature. It does not matter that we die, only how we die.
