Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy on Sunday denied a request from Proposition 8 supporters to halt the issuance of same-sex marriage licenses in California.

Dozens of same-sex weddings have taken place in the state since Friday, following the Supreme Court’s decision on Wednesday to overturn Proposition 8 — which had banned gay marriage.

More same-sex marriages are expected take place on Sunday in accordance with the Pride parade and a VIP reception for newly-married couples in San Francisco.

Prop. 8 supporters said the Friday start-date of same-sex unions came three weeks too soon since they still have 25 days to request another hearing, according to a news release from the Alliance Defending Freedom, an anti-gay marriage group....

Which, of course, the Supreme Court did not do - in fact they made no ruling on the merits of that case whatsoever...yet this is how it is being reported and what everyone believes - just like it was reported that DOMA was entirely thrown out even though the rulings were very narrow in scope.

There remains absolutely no integrity in the media. Just report what you want to be the truth to make it truth in the eyes of the public at large.

Did anyone expect Kennedy to sleep on it and then change his mind? Bottom line: Given the fact the Court is also responsible for the killing of forty million innocent lives, it is impossible for a decent person of conscience to respect it or take an oath to defend it.

Let’s see now. Kennedy is the sole male ‘gay’ member, right?

I can’t believe there are really that many gay people in the world.

Everything about this seems suspicious. Any ideas?

Professional ethics and recusal be damned. They only apply to the rest of the world.

Oh I forgot, heterosexuals don’t have legal standing on any homosexual issues.

There aren't. The percentage of homosexuals in the US population is about 1.7% by actual survey.

They're the most over-represented minority on the planet.

I hear you. While Putin is protecting his country’s children from this, this country elects leaders who force it on our children.

This push is about subverting America's moral foundation.. Gays, Muslims and Illegal Aliens are the THREE MAJOR TOOLS of the left to undermine traditional American values and the rule of law under our Constitution.

This is a gross character of justice. The people decided NOT to have gay marriage in their state. I don’t understand why the justices did not listen to the voters. Now if Maryland had this same case, perhaps I could understand the justices coming back with their ruling, but California voters voted NO to gay marriage. This might be the worst ruling ever in the history of the Supreme Court.

Not many at all.

That is why they want access to kids. The best way to “reproduce” is through brainwashing them when they are young.

“The people decided NOT to have gay marriage in their state. I don’t understand why the justices did not listen to the voters.”

And in one of his speeches in Africa, Hussein had the gall to say something about this decision being a step forward for democracy. In actuality, it was the opposite, as the California vote, a function of democracy, was struck down.

The time has come for traditional values states (like my home of Oklahoma) to quickly pass legislation that refuses to grant reciprocity to ALL marriages issued by any state that has homosexual marriage after the date homosexual marraiges began in that state (the rationele being that recognized homosexuality invalidates the states legitimacy to certify any marriage). So, in Oklahoma, any married couple moving to that state...to include military couples....that married in a state allowing homosexual marriage the the time the couple married...would NOT be recognized as married in Oklahoma. IF the couple desired to receive state controled marriage rights..they would have to remarry in Oklahoma or a state recognized as OK by Oklahoma.

The spouses of even a military couple would be impacted if the non-military spouse works in the state (even a federal job) because they have to pay state income tax. Treat them as single...and TAX THE LIFE OUT OF THEM. Make it PAINFUL to be outside the homophile states and you will force them to rethink their stances. The states must be prepared to ignore this SCOTUS or any future SCOTUS or POTUS actions that the state does not endorse. Federal courts should be totally ignored as well when they violate the long standing laws and customs of a state.

Also, the time has come for all “landmark” SCOTUS decisions to be held as “pending” until ratified by states as a constitutional ammendment must be. Ammending the COTUS via the SCOTUS needs to end...or at least require ratification just like proper ammendments to the COTUS.

Yes, and of those, probably 75% aren’t trully homosexual...they are just confused.
