Latest dispatch from the Department of Pot-Meet-Kettle. On today's Face the Nation, Texas state senator Wendy Davis, who overnight went from being a national unknown to a rising star who today appeared on count-em three Sunday talk shows, has accused politicians of using the abortion issue "to boost their own political aspirations."
Davis also accused Texas Governor Rick Perry and Lt. Governor David Dewhurst of putting thousands of Texas women "in harm's way in order for them to step up the political ladder." Bob Schieffer never called Davis on her hypocrisy.

I have zero respect for this dead soul Wendy. But she is correct in one sense: the democrips have used support and promotion of abortion as an empowerment scheme for decades, and the republicants have used the opposition to the democrips’ support as their empowerment scheme. If republicants really gave a damn about the slaughter of millions of alive unborn children, they would have passed legislation severely limiting the slaughter when they controlled the House, Senate, and White House not that long ago. They didn’t so they showed they didn’t want to end their demagoguery issue.
with this position of hers on abortion, I would say she is more like a falling star in Texas!
