A livid Rev. Al Sharpton lashed out Saturday at Mayor Bloomberg, demanding an apology over Hizzoner’s claims that the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy targets too many whites.
“The tone that has been set by that remark not only polarizes the city, it gives a false sense to police that they can step over the line,” Sharpton told a Harlem news conference.

Bloomberg known for brushing off criticism. And the mayoral gig doesn’t pay anything (literally - he takes no salary, although his city-employed security detail is paid by NYC). It would be amusing if he apologized. Does Al Sharpton really have what it takes to make Bloomberg issue a statement of regret? As a self-made multi-billionaire, Bloomberg’s no Paula Deen - at the mercy of the nattering nabobs of the media.

Hard to believe he would say this in the face of people like Sharpton and race baiter Jackson..who is busy dealing with his sons scandal.
I don't think Bloomberg is a dim bulb. You don't become a multi-billionaire by being one. He knows who commits the crimes in NYC. Gun control and stop-and-frisk are the only politically-feasible ways, in 50% black and Hispanic NYC, to control violent crime. Note that blacks don't just commit violent crime - they also riot in support of violent criminals who are killed by law-abiding citizens or cops, riots during which tens of millions of dollars (or more) of property damage can occur.
