Wendy Davis is the new darling of the left(dems, msm, etc.). If she decides to filibuster again, to sustain her new pro-abortion heroine status, I think that the Texas Senate should adopt a new rule for the filibuster.
The new rule would be that after a half hour of speaking the other side gets to use a "silent rebuttal". The silent rebuttal would be the use of graphics or text to rebut her testimony, by using a split screen on TV, where the other side could use pictures such as of a 23 week old baby that was aborted and with the text stating that "This is what Wendy Davis is defending".
Interrupting her filibuster by voice is not allowed, but a picture says a thousand words.
I bet her dem goons will be screaming that's not fair.
Why can’t people hold up signs silently while she’s talking? That’s not violating rules. If there are size limits, keep em within size limits.

I agree. This is exactly what needs to be done. They show the effects of cigarette smoking & what it does. People need to see what abortion looks like.
See I don’t like changing rules because our side is against the topic. That is such a Demoncrat tactic. Let the woman talk and pass a law later like they are doing. When we filibuster next time, I don’t want the Democtrats showing signs every 30 minutes.

There’s supposedly a run on the pink shoes Davis wore. Why don’t pro-life supporters wear baby sneakers pinned to their lapels? It would symbolize those who really need protection, and who will have no voice, no choice, if pro-abortion activists get their way.
Hopefully, pro-life groups are organizing to counteract whatever the leftist pro-aborts have planned.
Unfortunately, the point of a filibuster is to “have the floor” without relinquishing it - by definition. And so, we should make her TAKE the floor, properly, for the full time.
I haven’t heard, but I hope they address the abortion law first in this session. I don’t think Windy the Butcher could last a full 12 hours.

I sure hope they do. I’d see if I could participate if I knew about it far enough in advance. When is the next session called to meet?

Rick Perry is on to her scheme and stated that Wendy Davis is hijacking democracy with her filibusters. That leads me to believe that he or and Dewhurst will take stronger action against her hijacking of democracy the next time she pulls this stunt. Troopers could be ordered to remove her or they could cut off the TV broadcast of her filibuster.
Call it the The Filibuster of the Baby Killer.
The session is called to start on Monday, but my Rep said they probably won't get to actual votes, etc 'til Tuesday afternoon.
Pretty simple, the minute one of those hags start ranting, video it and get it up to you tube.
An even better one is to be there several hours earlier and take every seat in the gallery.
