Will that school allow students to wear shirts showing the American flag?

The lights went on and the Roaches are running for cover. Tyranny can only work when
they can control information. Fire them all, especially the Cop for over reaching.

Since when is it a crime to talk, doesn’t matter what the said, he could have called the officer a pig, or anything else, it is not a crime.

Not say the kid should not be severely reprimanded by his parents, if he used such language, but arrested and charged no way.

Many police and government school officials are more interested in power and their own egos than the welfare of children.

They are perfectly willing to send a child to prison for any slight or public embarrassment.

The headline should also read, Person who filed charges was assaulted severely by family members of child.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a 'person' that railroaded him, but rather a school district, the police/Sheriff and county attorney. That's a tough fight, and thankfully a judge put a stop to it.

Otherwise civil charges.

Federal criminal proceedings are being considered against the school administrators and their accomplices.

18 United States Code §ection 241

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

He had to sweat charges for exercising his First Amendment rights. The fact that the charges were dismissed isn’t even the point. They’ll drop the charges, after all the hassles and attorney’s fees have been endured. So people won’t wear NRA tee-shirts anymore.

I bet the requirement for dropping the charges was that neither he nor his parents sue.

Charge dropped against student who wore NRA shirt

Far better than the people responsible for the charge disappearing.

Sued for what? Having a stupid dress code? Can I sue my place of work for not letting me wear my “No Fat Chicks” t-shirt?

Listen, it was a stupid decision, but it was the school’s decision to make. Their house, their rules. Don’t like it? Join the school board and change it, or home school.

Everybody wants to be a special snowflake now and think they are exceptions to the rules. This would be a good lesson for the kid: sometimes life isn’t fair.

Get the Smith & Wesson cap. I get a lot of crazy reactions but most of it was cool, even in a blue city like mine.

Finally, some sense. The only way to stop these little dictator schools from calling the cops on their students for imaginary guns is to make it extremely expensive for them. Set an example for the rest of them to follow. This crap has got to stop.

My Dad would have marched into that Principal’s office and straightened it out right then.

Agreed. That's what I would've done for my daughter when she was that age 20+ years ago. Unfortunately, in TODAY'S hotbed of liberalism that is the school system, your dad would have marched in to the Principal and been perp walked out in 'cuffs. Sad, but true. When the cops start TASING five year old kids for being unruly in the principal's office, all bets are off. That TASING story, btw, is old news too.

Sorry, genius there was no prohibition about T-shirts in the dress code. Some teaching tyrant decided he didn't like the shirt and ordered the kid to take it off. He refused. The school called the cops on him. The cop arrested him because he was trying to explain what was going on. Then the idiot DA was going to press charges. After the news spread, the DA wanted to gag the family "for the kid's own good." A judge had reporter thrown out of the courthouse because she wanted to attend the proceedings about the gag order. When they realized the kid wasn't going to plead to a lesser charge and pay some fine, and the public was with the kid and against the government bullies did they actually drop the charges.

Make sure you put NRA T-shirts on your kid's back to school list. You can irritate libs and perhaps fund his college education with the lawsuits.
